Great service to help me find where I could do my community service locally. I think it's a great place to find volunteers needed.

Absolutely loved my first visit to Coalescence Coffee! This spot is more than just a coffee shop…read more It's a nonprofit community hub where everyone's welcome, and you really feel that vibe the moment you walk in. There's tons of space for remote work, community meetings, or just hanging out, and I noticed several groups using the open, airy cafe for coworking and conversation. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. I ordered the Monticello breakfast sandwich (with sausage, egg, cheddar, arugula, and a delicious aioli on an English muffin) and their Brown Sugar No. 05. A creative blend of brown sugar, rosemary, cinnamon, espresso, milk, and a hint of orange bitters. It was unique, refreshing, and seriously addicting! My friend went for the brown sugar latte and a blueberry bagel with cream cheese, which she loved. I was so interested in their nonprofit work, and after a quick website visit, I learned that Coalescence creates space for all kinds of community groups to gather and learn together, partnering locally and globally to lift up important work. Events, co-working, and shared community workspace are all available, with donors and volunteers supporting the mission so this resource keeps growing. If you're looking for great coffee, delicious food, or just a welcoming place to connect, this is it. Can't wait to come back!

Couldn't find parking on street in front but they have large parking lot in back. Came just for coffee so didn't get to try their food offerings. They appear to take coffee serious here (with weight to measure out ingredients). I asked if they had coffee menu and shown menu on wall. But they actually had signature coffee menu at cash register that had some interesting drinks. Worth coming to get good coffee.

Interaction with Lily was short, but the smell radiating off of her was horrendous. She rolled her eyes when I walked up to the counter & through the mask I could barely hear her telling me the total, heard $4.56 when I grabbed 3 kids books, $0.49 a piece. When I corrected her, she got a bit short tempered rolling her eyes at me once again and saying $1.56. Will NOT be back. This is the 2nd time I've been in here & both interactions at the register were with Lily.

Prices are clearly marked for almost all items for sale and staff is friendly and personable. There is a decent selection of various categories of merchandise though this store is a bit on the small side compared to some other areas thrift stores. I appreciate the presence of fitting rooms where one can try on clothing to check for a proper fit before purchase. Like most Goodwill stores, prices tend to be a bit higher than at other area thrift stores but the money you spend is going for a good cause and being reinvested in the local community. The store is located next to Roses in College Park Square Shopping Center. The large parking lot shared with the rest of the the shopping center tenants ensures plenty of available room to park your vehicle. The parking lot is generally well kept and the walkup to the Goodwill store has always been clear on my visits. Ingress and egress are easy with multiple entry and exit points in all directions.

They are getting new items in daily. So try and go whenever. They had a bargain area where just about everything is dumped into bins and you have to sort through it all giving all things covid, I only went in the room and walked around. It made me anxious being in there. In the other room it was nicely organized, and not as rowdy. Prices were very reasonable. The staff was amazing. They were so polite. I was impressed by a male cashier while there. He cut himself with some needles on some fake flowers. Because of that he immediately left the cash register to properly clean himself up (it was not too bad).

I have decided to no longer donate to them, and I donate to Chkd Thrift, the DAV, or other thrifts. Every item is donated and they greedily forgot that the mission used to be affordable goods for all. I hope you all join me until they remember this. They only pay attention when they lose money and donations. Also, instead of donating the Tons Of things to goodwill, I started selling on fb marketplace. I made $900 the first month and make $10-70 a day. AND IM CHEAPER THAN GOODWILL, WHICH IS WHY IM MAKING SO MUCH. And when I tell others about this? Every single person said they are tired of the prices too. It's my goal to tell every person I can to take their goods, and sell them second hand - people appreciate getting Actual good prices on second hand products. And at least they truly know its going to another person, vs the bs that this company with all its donated goods is doing with it
