I live in downtown Richmond and drive 25 min away to get supplies every few weeks. I was getting tired of going to dirty vape shops with teenie-boppers working in them that had no idea about my device or devices I was interested in purchasing, or any basic knowledge on vaping. Everytime I go or have questions I learn something new! All of their employees are knowledgeable on everything they sell. Also, I like the fact they have a lot of different choices when it comes to flavors, too. And for the one-star whiner complaining about not having the veteran discount, I am a veteran too and I absolutely used to go to Avail for about 2 years JUST because of their veteran discount, until I realized their quality SUCKS & I could get better service from here. Not sure why veterans think they should get discounts on everything everyday. Ya, it's nice. But your not entitled. (Btw they have discount on veterans day). Also unlike Avail they have different type flavors from DIFFERENT companies. Avail just uses their own and it begins to kinda taste the same. All in all, I love this place. Had the opportunity to stop in on opening door for this B&M shop, and being that they are one of two shops available for e-cig/vapor equipment, they surpass their competitor by leaps and bounds (I also reviewed the competitor). The selection was decent for opening day, and logically will only increase as time moves on. I was pleased to see some advanced mods available for purchase in addition to many different clearomizer selections. I went in looking for some XL cartos and tank set ups but was told that due to the Chinese New Year that shipments were effected (for multiple people.) I was slightly bummed, but the owner himself personally messaged me on my Facebook (after I had posted on their business wall) and thanked me for understanding, and went out of his way to track some down to order for me, and just wanted to fill me in. That's pretty damn exceptional customer service. You guys over at VV stay on par with this sort of 'above and beyond' service, and you'll go far. read more

When I first walked in the store I felt at ease with the color and decour of the place, and was greeted immediately for assistance. Was helped and felt welcomed with the chill green environment. Got some good tanks and great juices. Just didn't feel comfortable with one of the employees there, who kept cutting off the other, to put his input on everything I was trying. When i entered voltage vapin' for the second time, it started off as a good experience as myself and other friends were curious about how to get started, the cost, etc. The sales person I spoke to, was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. So for that alone, it started off positive. Now for the full disclosure, I had no idea that a person I was previously involved with worked at the store. He saw me, I saw him, there was 0 interaction whatsoever. Albeit we ended on not so amiciable terms, its still a place of business, I was there to shop and not see him. I did reach out privately, outside the store to inform him that I did not know he worked there and I was there as a consumer. That was all. He returned my message back stating that he could care less if i was there, he would treat me just like any other customer. But and I quote "Just fair warning, eyes will be on you when ever you are there. Take that how ever you want" It was one thing to try to be civil. If it just ended that at he would treat me just like any other customer, that would have been the end of it But now you are representing yourself as the rep of the business. And to me, you just made me feel less than a consumer. Now every time I would to come into the establishment., I will not receive the best customer service possible. I would be made to feel like a criminal, someone to watch and keep eyes on because one employee had a bad personal relationship with the person. Would some people say putting this on yelp isnt going to help matters? More than likely. I'm not going to argue, or fight. At the end of the day its supposed to be a business. I originally went into Voltage Vapin' to find a product to quit smoking. I was immediately veered to the most expensive products in the cases and I told them that I didn't care to spend that much. They then moved me to cheaper alternatives and I ended up buyng a Kanger Evod starter kit listed at $30 and two 10ml bottles of vaping liquids at $7 each. Upon my return home I opened the User manual included with the kit and was surprised to learn that it should have included more than twice what I recieved for my purchase. I had a great experience at this shop. I was looking to upgrade but didn't want anything too extravagant that required a lot of maintenance. I was helped immediately and given great advice on which device would be suited for my needs. He even set it up for me and showed me each step so I would know what I was doing. Have been purchasing fluid from Voltage Vapin' for a few years. The only fluid I will use comes from them. I haven't found another flavor anywhere that I like as much as the one I purchase from this shop. The customer service is outstanding. They always greet you as you walk through the door, and they are eager to help!!! I have nothing negative to say, and I recommend it to my friends and family members. First let me start by saying that i have enjoyed Voltage Vapin but they changed there policy when it comes to Veterans. They used to give Vets a 10% discount. Today when I stopped and got some juice they told me that i was no longer qualified for the discount it is now only for active duty. I have been using the discount for over a year. Instead of just dropping the discount for vets they could have grand father clause. well Avail does give vets a 15% discount. read more

Great customer service and the staff clearly knows what their store carries as well as other products. And it's the staff, especially Seth, who should get a 5 star rating but their products didn't last. I am an experienced user of many mods, tanks, rda, rta etc.. and the few products I bought didn't hold up well. Nemesis clone lasted about a week before the button fell to pieces and their kayfun clone was slightly off and would never stop leaking. I have had great mods as well, such as their SVD, aspire nautilus and the VTR. Which I still use regularly after 9 months. read more

I will no longer shop at voltage vapin because I was misled into buying the wrong e juice at $18 per bottle. When I asked the salesperson which juice was not menthol because I will not smoke it he gave me caralina crush which is menthol!!! And after I got home and tried it that it was menthol. I spend on a average of $60 per month on e-cigs which voltage vapin will no longer get my business. I will also tell everyone I know about my experience as well. read more
