This place really helped me out when I was in a pinch and desperately needed a job. Unfortunately…read morethe huge glut of college students in Fort Collins makes jobs very scarce, even when there is no recession. Many people work in other towns and sometimes states to get employment and still live in Fort Collins. They got me hired at Directech, a call center and kept me for about 90 days before I did the switch over and became a permanent employee at the call center. I always got paid promptly through the company and think you should give them a try. I did get laid off at Directech two years later but I had a 2nd job to back me up so I did not go back here looking for work. I am a bit reluctant anyway to go back because as I said Fort Collins' job market is next to nada and with the recession going on I don't think they would be successful in getting me more work...but I don't need a 2nd job anymore, so we are good!

Employment Solutions may not match the job title to the job. The job title tends to be described…read moreas something random like ... support/rep/assistant/coordinator/customer svc. (really similar meanings, most jobs require each of these things). My guess for this is so that the employer (management/corporate) can maintain the ability to expect the employee to catch everything that is thrown their way, even if it is not within their skill level. That must be what the overused word TEAM really means. Throw the ball, whoever runs after it and gets it in their possession and does something with it, wins. If not, you lose (your job). I do hope to learn new responsibilities but I have come to expect the job that is described to me will be something else. Does this employment agency and others not bother to understand what the job is or not disclose for some reason? We sign all their legal paperwork but I guess they do not have to be reasonable or honest with us because we have no paperwork to represent us. Sad and frustrating...
