My experience with The art of maintenance was truly a work of art in itself. I went in to get my…read morebrakes fixed knowing there was a multitude of other problems And they tackled all of them in a timely matter. My car was there Friday to Friday and the technicians sent me constant updates with pictures even videos through out the course of the work being done. Kevin was pleasant to deal with and communicative from before I got there to make my first appointment all the way until I picked my vehicle up when it was done. He was especially helpful with working with my work schedule being that I work until late at night well after they close. Will be coming back for any other work I need done to my car if needed. Thank you guys.

I listened in as the attendant was working with the previous client, when it comes to a woman going into a maintenance shop there is that stigma with women and car shops. I'm always on alert when I'm at a car shop because mechanics have been known to overcharge women. When it was my turn I had said i was there for my appointment, but the massive American flag outside is what made me ask this question. I had asked if this was a locally owned shop which they agreed but I asked what their stance is on the climate of the country and they said they all have different stances. As a veteran who served this country I don't feel comfortable giving my money, my car or the belongings in my car to this shop. Or leaving my car unattended with them. I stated this, and this attendant started telling me about this and that. I don't care. I care about my community, and if my money is going to the right places. And I got my confirmation that it is not here.

Import Repair Center - More nasty texts from shop.

Brady was good enough to stop whatever he was working on to do an engine check and check my oil. It seems I was very low on oil. He filled my tank and sent me on my way not asking for a dime. This is good business folks. I can't tell you how many times over the years mechanics took advantage of my ignorance. Brady could have easily told me I need this or that and I would have paid him. This young man had shown me courtesy, respect, and as though I was one of his friends. Brady will never take advantage of you. I highly recommend this shop. Karen Stephens St Johns Oregon

After days of searching, using parameter *they demanded*, provided them with 1) a 100% match to their required parameters (which there was only 1 left), and 2 perfectly good 98% match options (of which were many). Then it was like they disappeared off the earth for 2 weeks - no response. I finally got them to respond, and they basically told me to eff off that if I wasn't going to "follow their demands to the very letter" they weren't going to help me. Like *I* was wasting their time. Why was *I* the one tasked with finding my own parts anyway -- they're supposed to be the "experts", or did they just brush me off with bs scut work hoping I'll just go away because I'm a girl with some actual mechanical knowledge. John has always been professional, polite, totally honest (he will not pretend he can repair your vehicle if it's not repairable) and, he is very fair when comes to any repairs. My truck is sounding rough/ticking. I am dropping my truck off at 9am by 9:48 my water pump needed to be replaced. Quality~I received my quote and proceeded to have my truck serviced or I could have picked my truck up (no bad blood). But, I had no intention on not getting the proper repairs. I was taking a nap (got a call) at 4:15 it was ready to be picked up. John closes at 4:30 but, he told me that he would wait for me until 5:30 I made it at 5:27:) Value~I would highly recommend supporting a longtime gem of a business owner and, if you value great service. I have had all my vehicle for long periods of time until either I choose to sell it or get a new one. Office entrance is to the left and, the shop to the right as you come down the gravel road. Important Side note~it's busy and very loud in the shop (they cannot hear the phone). Please leave a message and, he will return your phone call the same business day or next morning (speaking from experience). Customer parking right in the front and, along the fence on the left hand side. Thank me later and, you are welcome!!! ;)
