It's a great bar a little bit west of downtown (walking distance) that serves hearty food (the portions are quite big). It's mostly known for their drinks (as the name would suggest you) and their ready tongued staff. The prices are more than fair (which applies for most of the bars in Leipzig). There is an outdoor seating area in summer but unfortunately it's right on the street. It is a pretty loud and casual bar. If you are a fan of this kind of establishment, you'll love the Vodkaria. read more

Die Vodkaria hat sich vergrößert. Früher aus allen Nähten geplatzt, jetzt findet man eher noch ein Plätzchen. Reservierung am Wochenende war trotzdem immer hilfreich! Die Wochenkarte wechselt alle 2 Wochen (:D) und bietet auch mal was ausgefallenes. Geschmeckt haben jedenfalls Pelmeni, Schnitzel und Soljanka sehr gut. Beim Wodka sollte man sich beraten lassen. Gibt aber so viele Sorten, da findet wohl jeder was. Bedienung war herrlich und fix zu Fuße. Toiletten sauber. Alles in allem empfehlenswert read more

Wenn schon Gottschedstraße, dann Vodkaria. Es gibt kaum einen Vodka, den es hier nicht gibt. Unbedingt probieren sollte man den Rasputin (oder wie er heißt). Das Wasser trinken aber nicht vergessen! ;) read more
