Fun atmosphere, and you will meet new people whenever you go. The music is, well, not what I would normally listen to. There's more than enough cheap beer to make that a non-issue! I'm not sure why the drink prices on here are listed as moderate. They aren't, and you will get more than moderately tipsy for minimal money. The place is open super late. Or "early" in the daytime. I honestly can't remember ;) I do recall biking to work past there at like 8:30AM and seeing people sitting outside. read more

The beers at Goldhopfen were cheap and good; the bartender was very interesting and clearly had a passion for service and bartending. We each had a couple of the local Weiße Elster pale ales and sat out at a small table on the sidewalk. Although we didn't spend much time inside, it looked like there was a variety of games to play and areas to sit. We were also able to get some beers to-go upon leaving. I hope Goldhopfen stays in business and gains some traction in this neighborhood - it's a great place for a chill night!

They have a 10 euro 4-taster flight of all the draft beers that is a pretty good deal and they always have some kind of IPA on draft. Last night the draft beers were IPA, pale ale, lager and pils. The vibe of this place is very relaxed. It almost feels like you are in your friends basement. There is plenty of seating inside and also a little outdoor patios space. The bar also stays stocked up on a variety of board games that you can play. Overall a very relax, chill hang-out vibe.

Flowerpower ist eine miese, dreckige Kneipe. Sie ist aber so mies, dass sie wieder gut ist. Du gehst rein und wirst nach Rauch für 3 Tagen dannach stinken, aber es lohnt sich, wenn man solche Dive Bars mag. Die Ausschmückung ist 60er Jahre-mäßig und die Pissoirs sind im Form offener Münder! Normalerweise gibt es interessante Musik (Ich war da auf einer DDR-Party und hab auch mal so 50er Jahre Rock n Roll gesehen, beide waren herrlich!) und interessante Menschen, die immer mit dir ins Gespräch kommen wollen. Es ist relativ günstig: 2,60€ - 0,4 L pils, 5,30€ - Maß. Wenn man solche kleine, dreckige Dive Bars mag, Flowerpower ist eine der Besten. read more

Wow! Was für eine geile Atmosphäre! Hier bleibt echt die Zeit stehen und eh du checkst was abgeht, ist draussen Sonnenaufgang! Hatte bis jetzt einfach immer geile Partys hier; und ganz speziell der Mambo-Kurt Gig zum Honky Tonk war für mich einfach der Hammer!!! Auch sonst ist die Musik einfach ein Traum, denn hier kann ich noch abtanzen zu Rock und Oldies der 60er & 70er Jahre oder zu Live-Musik und echt lustige Leute kennenlernen. Echt klasse Personal und Kneipe,freue mich jedes mal die nettesten Leute aus Leipzig dort kenn zu lernen.Habe dort erst vor einigen Tagen Sascha von Dig Brave getroffen,war ein sehr Lustiger morgen geworden.Live Musik un dafür kein Eintritt Frei einfach nur Klasse.Eine urig Gemütliche Bar wer in Leipzig war und dort mal nicht gewesen ist ist selber schuld............. read more

This place exist only because of winos who need a place to drink at 5 am because they are still standing. Lots of creepy guys looking for drunk girls. If you are looking for a nasty one- night-stand this place is for you. Watch your drinks ladies. read more
