For many models they can repair the phone within 30 minutes while you wait! They often have offers on, for example tempered glass hone screens for half price, or buy one case get another half price etc. This is advertised on their Facebook page and also on billboards outside the store.

They do a decent range of second hand games, consoles, mobile phones, cameras etc. If you need to sell something, you'd be better off doing it elsewhere, via ebay/gumtree etc, unless you are desperate for money right now, as they don't pay much and you'd definitely be missing out!

The staff generally know what they're talking about, though I've been here before and been greeted with blank stares when I ask about a particular product. This is, more often than not, a rarity though I would like to think that the staff here are regularly trained and informed about the new and updated products. Apart from being nosy there isn't much else this shop can offer me so it's maybe better reviewed by a customer on the network. All in all it's a well run though small shop but I guess it doesn't need to be any bigger as all it sells in mobile phones which are increasingly smaller and smaller. A good shop with generally good staff.

Phones 4 You offer competitive prices and deals on all the best phones from various different networks so it means you have a varied choice of networks instead of going to one network provider and them shoving their products down your throat. The staff in here generally know what they're on about so you'll be able to get a good enough deal if this is what you're after. Personally, I would recommend trying the Carphone Warehouse as generally they offer better deals and the staff are better trained and more knowledgeable. He had a look at it, it was an issue with the phone itself so He had it sent to one of the 'geek squad' (yes this is their actual name) and they were able to sort it for me. While I was in the store I was able to pick up a few accessories for my phone. Pretty good! No charge for the service as phone was still under warranty

The manager Karen is absolutely lovely, though on my last visit I think it was Jordan that processed my upgrade. He was a wee gent. Chatted away as the order went through. Offered to help set it up etc. First class service as always. After a failed attempt to purchase a phone from another provider in Abbey Centre, I was reminded of how wonderful the Carphone Warehouse always are. Wouldn't go anywhere else in future.

I went with her of course, because she gets freaked out when experts start talking 'gobbledygook' to her about SIMs and Memory cards and Wifi and stuff like that, so in case they asked her any questions about 'that sort of thing' (her words) then I went along to give moral support. Ahem...anyway, they unlocked her phone for her without any problems, and we learned that they also do repairs and sell various types of phones and accessories too - although she didn't want all the extra stuff - she was just happy she got her phone working.
