Very friendly and very helpful people working there. I got a great deal transfering my phone service from another NL carrier to T-Mobile. I also got a great plan to have unlimited calls to the USA. OMG. Why didn't my other carrier offer that? The store and staff is very welcoming and it's great they are in the Kinkerbuurt.

Efficient service since I was in and out of the store within 5 minutes. I didn't have to give out my passport for cellular registration purpose. I don't know if other Vodafone locations sell SIM cards or can help you out. I'd definitely recommend this particular branch as it is still conveniently located and easily accessible as you walk around the city.

Then the touch screen was not working correctly. Certain sections were completely unresponsive to touch. I reported this the next Monday and wanted to bring it in but that was not possible because they had closed the store for two weeks for vacation. We worked out a time to have it looked at when they were open. Then the phone screen cracked at the earpiece while I was holding it in my hand. Obviously this is not the gorilla glass used by Apple. I sent the company an email explaining my dissatisfaction with the product quality and the fact that I had no choice but to go to another store to have it repaired as the phone is now unusable. Their reply to my 4 paragraph email was: Hello. If you cracked the screen there is no warranty. We can't help you. So don't go to these folks if want a quality repair and/or if you want a company that stands behind their work. Go ahead and spend a little more money at a shop that uses original Apple equipment. It's not worth the savings.

I went back to their shop and they told me it was a "systematic" issue that I just had to wait. I waited for another two weeks and nothing. They gave me another sim card before a trip to Spain ensuring me it would work this time. I got to spain and I had no service at all. Again went to the store they said I had to wait some more for the second sim card to appear in the system. In a month I went to this location 7 times and not once were they able to help me. This company is a mess the people at the store and the people they respond to have no idea what their doing. If you are an international student or just someone who moved to the netherlands do not waste your time or money coming here it isn't worth it. WORST PHONE COMPANY EVER.

It was a few minutes before I could get the attention of one of the sales people so I checked out what phones they carried. They had just started carrying iphones. When I finally got one of the staff to help me and answer my questions I was informed of what I as a foreigner had to get first in order to get a phone. That was very helpful information starting me down the bureaucratic path I was required to walk. I am still walking down that path, now weeks later lol. Until I acquire the necessary items I was told that I could use a pay as you go phone. So I bought one. Unfortunately, the phone I bought is, though inexpensive, not a good phone, even for temporary use. I appreciate the fact that the sales person saved me a little money but if you find yourself in this predicament I'd recommend spending a little more money for a better temporary phone.

T-Mobile Europe is a totally separate company and couldn't help me unlock my phone (despite the fact that it was supposed to already *be* unlocked) so I was basically FUBAR. The folks at Vodafone, however, got me logged into the T-Mobile support to request an unlock. They not only helped but helped happily. I'm still waiting for T-Mobile to do their thing but I'm ready to go with a SIM card and a plan once they get it straightened out.

I found "The Fixables" on Yelp and walked in the door without calling, with no appointment. I was greeted warmly, and when I told them I needed the glass replaced, I was surprised to find out that they had the equipment on hand and that their technician could repair it within the hour. While I waited, I was served a nice Americano and made myself comfortable in their nice waiting room. Within 30 minutes, the glass was replaced and I was on my way. The cost met the estimated I was provided at the beginning and I even got a free screen protector. I would highly recommend The Fixables. Friendly, efficient and fair.
