We decided to jump on it, but had no idea where to go. Denise spent hours with me on the phone figuring out what we liked, and helping us center a trip around snorkeling (a first for me - I came from New England before living in SF - that I've always wanted to do). She found us a super swanky all inclusive room and finagled us special decoration and welcome packages for honeymooners, all within our budget and on a tiny timeframe. Then a few days later right before I was going to pay, I called her up at 9pm on a Sunday (please don't be rude to her like me!) worried that the hotel wasn't quite right for us - we were going to Mexico and it felt a little too 'professional' for us, plus I was wondering if there was a way I could just walk right out and snorkel each day. Denise spent hours more with me that night helping me find the perfect spot and plans all over again, with no complaint whatsoever - she actually seemed excited! She really seems to love her job and genuinely enjoys learning about you as a person and matching you to the right trip. Then she even met me in the city where was convenient for me to take payment. We ended up at Club Med, which I had never thought of, which had snorkeling right off the resort - and walked out and snorkeled almost every day of our trip. We also went to Xel-Ha, for another day of fish-watching. There were other options and tours that we'd gone over, but the resort was so good that once we were there we just found ourselves having a wonderful relaxing time with little distraction. Thank you, Denise!

Denise went above and beyond to make sure our honeymoon was the best and it was beyond PERFECT!! Denise booked our flight and a ten day all inclusive stay at Sandals Resort in Whitehouse, Jamaica and made the process extremely smooth. When we got there, she even paid out of her own pocket to make sure we had candlelight dinner on the beach. My wife and I are so grateful to have found Denise to help plan our once in the lifetime trip. I HIGHLY recommend Denise to book your trip, no matter where it is because she will make sure you enjoy every second of it!! Thank you so much for your dedication to helping us Denise!! There are no accidents in life - it's destiny! I remember an acquaintance telling me about this travel agency back in 2006, and I called them for an impending trip. The first person I talked to here was a guy called Nirav, another called Major. Both were busy, so they transferred my call over to Ruby - and here's why I say there are no accidents in life!! She is god sent and has been the one I've turned to during the darkest hours of my life!!!! Ruby is one person who understand the urgency in the voice of the caller. She has a lot of patience and not once have I heard her get angry or irritable, even though I rushed her many a time. I'd call her for International tickets, without much notice, and promptly she'd book me on flights. Lately, she has been a part of my family in so many ways - during the hospitalization of a parent, the demise of a parent, another emergency hospitalization, and all other possible life's emergencies!!!! Even a call from across the world, she makes it her business to deliver results!!! RUBY is: Respectful, Uber efficient, Bubbling with an attitude to help and truly be there while you travel. Winston Churchill said, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." In my case, I agree with Churchill completely. Ruby and Travel for Less go hand-in-hand!! They have a purpose and that is to help you on your journey. They make a difference! 3 cheers to Ruby and Travel For Less I could keep traveling if I had to interact with these guys...I'd never stop traveling!

Customer service: impeccable. Super responsive both via phone and email. Major Gill was just on the ball - he was patient and accomodating as we went back and forth changing my ticket because I could not remember the name on my Indian passport. 4. I will be Yelping when I get back - but I have no doubt my experience will be just like all my other friends who have used this travel agent: positive and deserving nothing short of 5 stars (and believe me, I don't dole out praise easily). I am referring all my friends, family and associates here to them, personally.

My family has used Marie at Galvan's Travel for approximately five years. Our first large family…read moretrip, about four years ago, was overall enjoyable, but there were several issues that should have been red flags. One family member's extra airline seat ticket was not provided to us, creating stress before our flight, and we had difficulty reaching Marie regarding our early morning departure. When we arrived at the hotel, there were also booking issues that resulted in an hour-long check-in process. Despite those problems, the remainder of the trip went well, so we decided to book through her again. This most recent experience was far more disappointing. Over the last three years, our trip dates had to be changed several times due to family emergencies and other life circumstances. Throughout that entire process, we had booked two king-bed rooms and one double-bed room. At no point were we told that king rooms were unavailable. About a month before our trip, a family member noticed that the itinerary listed double beds instead of king beds. She contacted Marie, who told us she had checked with the hotel and confirmed that the hotel had king-bed reservations on their end. When we arrived after more than 5 1/2 hours of travel, exhausted, hungry, and overheated, the hotel informed us that we had never been booked for king rooms. We contacted Marie, and her response was, "Okay, so what do you want me to do about it?" The tone and attitude were shocking and unprofessional. She told us our options were to accept all double-bed rooms or try to move to a different hotel. She claimed she contacted the hotel to resolve the issue, but it wasn't until my sister-in-law spoke with another hotel employee that a manager became involved and worked on correcting the reservation. Fortunately, the hotel staff were kind, understanding, and able to secure one king room for us while we kept the double rooms for the other reservations. Marie later claimed she paid more than $600 for a king-room upgrade, yet hotel staff informed us that the room types were the same price. What disappointed me most was not just the booking error but the lack of accountability and compassion. Marie repeatedly commented on how many times the trip had been rescheduled. To that, I can only say that I hope she never has to experience the family emergencies and health concerns that caused those changes. Clients deserve empathy and professionalism, especially when dealing with circumstances beyond their control. Rescheduling a trip does not excuse booking errors. If the reservations had been entered correctly from the beginning, changing travel dates would not have altered the room types we requested. Unfortunately, after multiple booking issues over the years and the way this situation was handled, our family will not be using Galvan's Travel again. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend their services to friends or family.

Samantha makes it extremely easy to book, & I have now booked multiple vacations, work trips, and tickets for football with her. On one occasion I wanted to do 3 day stop in Dallas follow by a week in Puerto Rico. Samantha sent over a proposal with multiple options for hotel, transportation, and activities for us to choose from and got everything booked. We unfortunately had to cancel the second leg of the trip & she was able to cancel everything and get us a full refund! It was really nice to not have to worry about dealing with the airlines when cancelling. A couple of my work trips have also required last minute changes and she handles those so quickly! Honestly, I don't think I could go back to booking my own trips. I HIGHLY recommend GBG for all your traveling and event ticket needs!
