From start (and I do mean start with scheduling giving accurate insurance information) to finish this was absolutely the best first dental experience we could have asked for! our 1.5 year old was just waking up and apprehensive but every single employee made it their mission to make him comfortable and happy! They really take the time to help them get comfortable with letting him brush a stuffed dragons teeth while cheering him on and answering all my questions to explaining how we'd get his cleaning down via teamwork between myself and the dentist to discussing tips on how to create positive dentist memories. I never felt rushed. I also appreciated the private room for little ones first time and an employee even came in just to hold my phone so he could see and hear his favorite songs to help him through the cleaning which honestly took just a few minutes for the whole thing and as soon as it was done they brought out a bubble blower that helped him quickly get over being upset about getting his teeth brushed. The bathroom was beautiful and clean as was the front waiting area which was colorful and had many activities for toddlers and older children and best of all giant vending machines that your child gets a special token to use after they are done- his adorable rubber duck from the machine quickly brought a smile to his face! The also take and provide you with a cute first visit dental photo printed out -it has a qr code to download the file- what more could you ask for!? The employees at the front desk also went above and beyond helping us check to see if another insurance would have better coverage and now we can add him to one of our other policies to get coverage at a much higher rate! read more

The patient (and parent care) is top notch. There was no judgement for anything, kind guidance and what felt like collaboration between Dr. Pete and us. My son is 12 months and barely fussed during his teeth cleaning and the whole ordeal was over in under a minute. I have a clear game plan for my son's dental hygiene. And I especially want to give a kind shoutout to Lindsay, the patient care coordinator who graciously answered three of my phone calls in less than 10 minutes while I was frantically trying to coordinate my life with a young toddler. If you are looking for a pediatric Dentist that is clean, organized and makes children feel right at home, this might be the place for you read more

Was referred to Dr Peter 4 years ago for my daughter and have never even dreamed of going elsewhere. My daughter loves going to his office to see him and I love the experience as well from start to finish with every single team member there. She even asks when she will see him next bc she gets a little gift at the end! She's actually excited about seeing the dentist!!! Teddy the office mascot is also too cute!! I couldn't recommend Dr Peter enough! You won't regret it. I wish I had him as a dentist when I was younger bc I'm traumatized from my childhood dentist! read more

I had a very bad experience here. The dentist recommended thousands of dollars of work due to my child's tooth decay including multiple crowns. I went to get a second opinion from another dentist who said the problem hadn't gotten that bad yet and we could keep an eye on it. I also found the prices quite high, perhaps necessary to pay for the gimmicks like the digital touch pads, games, free toys, and other things that are unnecessary for quality dental care. We wont' be back. read more

We went to VK seeking a second opinion after another dentist recommended an aggressive treatment plan for my small child. Ultimately we left planning to do the same treatment plan the original dentist recommended, but Dr. Peter explained the issue so well that I felt empowered to make my own decision rather than feeling skeptical. Also, everyone we interacted with at the office was very kind and patient, and my typically anxious kid was at ease the whole time. Highly recommend these folks! read more

We had a really great experience here! I brought my girls ages 7 and 5 and they were very patient and lovely with them. Looking forward to going back as much as one can possibly look forward to the dentist....! read more

I never grew up with this kind of dentist. But I wish I had and maybe I would have more positive experiences. Dr. Peter and his team are absolutely incredible. My kid loves going to the dentist every time. They are very kind, encouraging, and super patient. The office is immaculate and super kid friendly. It also doesn't hurt that they give prizes after an appointment which helps to keep my kid happy and motivated. They also gave great strategies and tips to help us overcome certain challenges. Knowledgeable and nonjudgmental. They are worth every penny! read more

Doctor Markov was recommended by our Pediatrician. We were able to get in same day. Our baby has a fear of doctor's offices, as most babies do. But the nurse and doctor were just so nice and patient, she did better than we were anticipating. And left the office with quite a few treats and toys) Everyone were very knowledgeable, explained in details all the home care, and the in office treatment. Definitely going back! read more

I couldn't be happier with our entire experience. Dr. Peter and his staff made my sons first experience at the dentist so good he asked to go back! I would recommend VK to anyone and everyone with a little one. read more

Honestly the perfect experience for my 2 year old who had never seen a dentist before-- very clean office and kind staff from making the appointment all the way to checking out. Dr. Peter and his team really care about making sure your child is comfortable and not afraid. My son enjoyed brushing Mr. Tiger's teeth, watching Frozen on the ceiling TV, the bubbles at the end of the appointment, the cute dog behind reception, the token machines where he got a duck and the toy cabinet where he selected a helicopter. All of that plus a gentle, mostly tear free teeth cleaning-- we will be longtime patients and I have already told all my mom friends. The best! read more

BEST appt we've brought our son to hands down!! The lobby was fun and inviting, the staff was super sweet, and Dr. Peter was fabulous and informative. They made my son's experience so enjoyable that he asked if we can go back. This is a little toddler that is completely paranoid of going to the pediatricians office because he doesn't want to get an ouchie (a shot lol). Bravo VK Pediatric Dentistry - you're doing it right!! read more

We had our first visit today and it was awesome. Our daughter, is only two, but she did so well because of the way the team put her at ease. Dr. Peter and Kat as well as the front office team were all patient and took ample time with us. So often, I feel like providers are rushing through appointments but that was definitely not the case today. We are looking forward to continuing care with the office for the foreseeable future. read more

My 11-month old just had his first visit with Dr. Peter and it was such a great experience. The whole team was warm and welcoming, and patient with my little one while he explored the office (which was immaculate, by the way). Dr. Peter went above and beyond in thoughtfully explaining everything not just to my husband and me, but to our son as well. We're already looking forward to our next visit! read more

Dr. Peter and his staff are amazing! We took our 13 month old for his first check up (he has a lot of teeth). The staff was very friendly. His assistant talked us through the evaluation process before the doctor came in so we knew what to expect. They listened to all of our concerns and addressed them. Dr. Peter was extremely through, upbeat and educational. He was very gentle with our son. We had a fantastic experience and are glad our child's first introduction to the dentist was positive. read more

Fantastic dentist! Took our 2.5 year old daughter yesterday for her first dentist appointment. We weren't sure how it would go given her age and new experience but the staff and dentist were amazing. Not only was It such a fun environment for her but they let her watch pawl patrol, hold on to a tiger with lots of teeth AND gave her a stuffed toy at the end to take home too. They gave my husband great advice to bring home on how to help best take care of her teeth while also understanding how stubborn 2-3 year olds can be. Highly recommend this place! Great precautions in place during COVID also that we felt safe the entire time. Glad we went. read more

VK Pediatric Dentistry is fantastic! Dr. Peter and his staff are great with kids, and my 3 year old felt totally at ease. The office is also really cool, and makes me wish I was a kid (why can't adult dental offices be this fun?) In terms of COVID preventions, this place is bar-none. The office is incredibly clean and only one family is allowed in at a time. I had been putting off scheduling a dental check-up for my daughter because of COVID, so I'm glad to have found this practice. read more

Best experience I have had for pediatric care in Arlington. They were friendly, organized, and had a clean office. Most important they knew how to make my son not hate getting his teeth cleaned. Everyone that wants to open a practice in pediatrics needs to learn from them. read more

Would highly recommend this practice to anyone frustrated with their current pediatric dentist. We were greeted warmly and seen promptly. My girls (6 and 8.5) were treated with kindness and given autonomy over each part of their appointment. The office is bright, kid-friendly, and easy to park and enter. Dr. Peter was engaging and extremely personable. We recently moved practices and I wish we had done so earlier! read more

Dr. Peter and his staff have always been amazing with my two children. Dr. Peter is a true professional with a special gift of making children feel at ease on the dentist chair. Unlike our previous experiences with two other dentists, my girls enter Dr. Peter's office without any reservations. He truly cares about the present and long term health of his patients' teeth and makes his recommendations based on this alone, not rushing any process like braces or extractions (although there is a need for it in the future). We continue to see Dr. Peter every 6 months even after moving out of state. It's very hard finding a dentist like him and so we consciously made the decision to keep his service. My children are very comfortable with him and he practices with integrity. We highly recommend him! read more

Highly, highly recommend! They were so incredible with my 3 year old - they talked through everything very carefully so she knew what to expect, they had fun toys, and they had BUBBLES. This office was wonderful and I am so excited to have found them! read more

This place is great! Very kid friendly and willing to see all my kids at once! It's also easy to get an appointment which is very helpful!

I can tell you all about how great this place is, the staff, cleanliness, billing, how they handle the kids. But all you really need to know is that my 2 year old was psyched to go, and only cried once... when we were leaving in the car because she wanted to go back to the dentist. read more

My daughter had a fantastic experience here! From check in to meeting with the assistant for a cleaning and x-rays, to meeting with the doctor -- it was great. The entire staff was warm and friendly and she can't wait to visit the dentist again! read more

Having worked at a pediatric dentist I had an overall gist of what a 14 month olds appointment would be. That being said our first dental visit exceeded my expectations! COVID or not- it is pleasing to the eye to have a clean, organized, and detail oriented space to be in. I immediately felt like I had chosen a great pediatric dentist for my child...first impressions are important. The front desk lady was kind and attentive to me and friendly to my son, Lucas. I appreciated the paperwork being on a tablet rather than paper and they offered Lucas a tablet (with my permission) to watch a show while I filled out the questions. The doctor came in and went over any questions I had as well as gave me some helpful suggestions. He wasn't pushy with anything or trying to upsell me. We did a knee to knee for Lucas's exam and cleaning in which the doctor was gentle, quick, and efficient. Once the "hard" part was over he had a little bubble machine which helped with the few tears Lucas shed for the fluoride ( can't blame him!) and he was given a toy. They also had a very cute "my first dental appointment " sign which we were able to use as a prop to take a picture! read more

As we walked out the door after our appointment this morning -- my 2-year-old's first dentist appointment ever -- my daughter looked at us and exclaimed: "Fun going to the dentist!" My husband and I were also impressed that everyone was so kind, caring and professional. And they had so many tricks to explain what they were doing and help kids feel comfortable. Truly a fabulous pediatric dental experience! Dr. Peter and his staff are exceedingly kind and go out of their way to put patients (and their parents) at ease. The office is immaculately clean and so bright and welcoming, and their COVID protocols (one family in the office at a time) were also top tier. My four year old left surprised at how quick and easy the whole experience was and hasn't stopped asking about when she'll be able to go back. Highly recommend! read more

Dr. Peter is hands down one of the best pediatric dentist in the area. As a mother who is also in the medical profession, I was truly speechless witnessing his magical abilities to alleviate any fear that my 4 year old had. Dr. Peter performed a tooth extraction with NO TEARS... NOT ONE. My child actually said he had a good time! I can't remember ever thinking going to the dentist was a good time as a child!! The office is immaculate with bright cheerful colors. The entire staff was beyond friendly, kind and wonderful with my 4 year old. They even give a cool token for your child to pick a prize! They honestly check every single box! A friend recommended VK Pediatric Dentistry to us and I will be forever thankful! We left our appointment today and my child said "Dr. Peter is so cool!" I agree with my child, Dr Peter and his whole staff are amazing! Consider yourself lucky if you have the pleasure of meeting the VK Pediatric Dentistry team! Your kids will thank you! read more
