We had a new ensuite fitted by Vizzini just over 4 years ago. The guys who fitted the ensuite lacked attention to detail. The main flaw was not sealing the base of the shower door where it screws to the wall. the result 4 years later is rot damage to the stud wall, kick board and flooring. God knows how much it will cost to put right. Other niggles where the sink was supposed to be about 6 inches from the wall according to the design, but instead it was butted next to wall, which means that with a towel holder next to the sink you can't really stand at the sink face on, a simple movement of smaller base units would have prevented this. The top was not finished at the edge, I had to glue some edging on myself. They provided a cable with some slack so I could wire up a mirror with integral lights over the sink, however I could not use the slack as they had cemented the wire in place!! The pump was installed in the loft but they just used the planks that were there, meaning the pump was not fully supported. I had to add some extra wood to fully support the pump. They built the stud wall for the shower too short, and had to add an extra piece of plasterboard to make it wider, however it was only just big enough for the shower door. It needed to be an inch or so wider so the frame sat better. The support legs for the units were screwed on with just 2 screws rather than 4, the caps for the shower frame were not installed. Definitely a case of what the eye does not see the chef gets away with. Yes the showroom is nice and the installation initially looked good but this lack of attention to detail, especially with not sealing the tray and walls BEFORE installing the shower door, has cost us a great deal of time and expense long run. I suggest if you do go with this lot you carefully inspect all aspects of their work. I regret not doing this. read more
