What a pleasant surprise to find a denistry where the ENTIRE staff are friendly and personable!…read more Dr.Datta was no exception either!! My family and I recently moved to the area and were referred to Dr.Datta by a friend. Our friend could not say enough good things about Dr.Datta and everything she said was 100% true!! They are also open in the evenings and on weekends to accommodate those of us who don't have flexible work schedules. The office is conveniently located in a strip mall, so there's parking right out front. But what's really neat is that all the rooms have a full-wall picture of a relaxing landscape which really helps with my anxiety. Every single person LightHouse Dental took their time to make sure I was comfortable for the entire experience. I would highly recommend them to everyone!!

I think this place is good for those that have no or mid range anxiety when going to the dentist. However if you suffer from high or severe I don't think this place is for you. The staff are not equipped to handle it. The biggest star in this business is Dr.Sethi. He is a kind and empathetic individual who has a deep understand of people. He is amazing and I would recommend asking for him if you suffer from anxiety. My full review of this business is in the photos. Again. This place might be great for most of the people but it's not for everyone!!

Been waiting 2 hours now. Ambulance after an automobile accident brought my wife here before I got…read morehere at 8pm. I got the call while I Toronto around 6:30 and got here before she was seen. Not surprised as last time I was here when my fingers got by the hedge trimmer I had a 5 hour wait. We asked how soon she would be seen but they couldn't tell us. The service has deteriorated significant since I first moved here in 1995. The service with the old hospitals Port Hope and Cobourg were way better then. This is a government problem not the staff. I feel bad for the staff here. Peterborough Hospital was like this back in the 90s but I hear it has improved. Increased my rating as Dr and nurse were very nice. And seen under 5 hours.

Bought 2 pairs of glasses...eyeglasses and a pair of sunglasses, totaling $1749.00, The timeframe…read moreto receive was 10 to 14 days. At 14 days, I went into the store and the glasses were in. Upon fitting and adjusting the eyeglass frames, one of the arms broke in half. The sunglasses had the wrong tint. The salesclerk told me I could take the sunglasses home and wear them until the new lenses came in. She said she was putting a rush on the order. After 2 weeks, neither the new frames or the lenses had arrived. Upon examining the frames of the sunglasses, I became aware that they were not the colour that I ordered. I tried on, ordered, and paid for black. What they sent was tortoise shell with a bit of black. So, wrong tints and wrong lenses. After all of this, they said that the eyeglass frames are on back order. I paid by debit, which is instant payment. I was informed that if I wanted a refund, it would have to be by cheque. Of course, the bank will put a hold on their cheque of probably 2 weeks. So, they have had my $1749.00 for over a month, and I have nothing. Furthermore, I will have to wait another couple of weeks for their cheque to clear. Purchasers beware. I expected better from this retailer. Disgraceful customer service. Completely lost confidence in this retailer and their supplier. Disgraceful. 4

I went to Northumberland Dental Hygiene to see about teeth whitening. I talked to Mary Ito. She…read moredescribed the process and how things would happen, and then had a look at my teeth. Mary was very professional at the same time she had a friendly and personable manner. In fact all the staff I came into contact while I was there did. It only took a short visit, under half an hour and Mary had taken molds of my teeth, upper and lower. The next week the two "trays" were ready. The process involves adding a bit of whitening agent to each tray, then wearing them over your teeth for a hour at a time. Mary described and demonstrated the process and told me what cautions I should be aware of. at home I was able to follow the very clear directions easily. I was surprised at how quickly the whitening started. As a coffee drinker who prefers red wine to white, I thought I would have more trouble achieving whiter teeth. Not so. Within a couple of days my wife could notice a difference. At the end of two weeks I was very pleased. There was enough product left in my kit to repeat the whole thing again in another year, if I want. Mary had told me I could mover things along even faster if I wanted to wear the trays twice a day instead of once. Not sure if I will or not but I DO know, that the path to whiter teeth is straightforward, simple and economical thanks to Mary and Northumberland Dental Hygiene Clinic.
