Service was scheduled at 9:00 AM, and Deon confirmed the appointment the day before, which I appreciated since many companies leave guessing till the last minute. Deon also let me know that they were on the way to our home, prior to the appointment time, which to me is a professional way of conducting business! On arrival I found Deon to be highly professional and friendly, asking if we wanted him to wear shoe covers, then went to our kitchen and listened to what we had done in the past, our problems and then gave us his professional advice up to the point of where he could. He did informed us that there could be a possible switch issue. He immediately went to work and in less than an hour informed us of our situation and his recommendation. Within two hours he had finished the job! The lights looked great and I highly recommend Deon Melson - D & D Electrical Service for your electrical needs!

I would not recommend Area Energy to nobody! Our propane heater broke in the worst part of winter…read moreso landlord hired them to fix it. They said that they couldn't find the parts to fix the heater so they told the landlord that a new heater was needed. Landlord trusted them to pick out and purchase the new heater. They ended up picking out the same brand heater so tell me why would they pick the SAME ONE when they were having troubles finding parts to fix the last one? Just doesn't make sense!! But finally 2 months later, we received our new heater. Techs came out and installed it and lit it. Then realized that the heater they purchased was a natural gas heater and we had propane!!!!! They lit a natural gas heater on our propane line!!!! When this happened, the front glass broke! Picture is below!!! Then we had to wait another 6 weeks for them to get the conversion kit ordered and installed. When they lit the heater for the second time, it started making LOUD whistling noises and ticking and banging noises. The whistling noises were SO LOUD that it woke me and my husband up at all hours of the night. My husband started missing work because he wasn't getting enough sleep at night because this heater was so loud. We called them ago and finally the owner Jeff came out this time to try and fix the heater. He told us that there was nothing he could do about it so now we are just stuck with this "brand new" heater that is EXTREMELY LOUD. I believe when they lit the natural gas heater and n our propane line, before they realized that it needed a conversation kit, that it not only cracked the outside of the heater but it messed something up on the inside too. And because this was THERE FAULT, they aren't taking responsibility for there mess up because then they would have to buy another new propane heater which would cost them $2,000. I would NEVER recommend Area Energy in Sidney Ohio. I also put a bad review on there page but it was quickly removed. (Go figure, right)
