He searched the market, went on home visits, sent multiple videos (including face time calls when my schedule allowed), and took tons of photos. Steven's team is highly disorganized and his incompetence cost me a 90 point drop in my credit…read morescore. This is not a spur of a moment review, Steven helped me get a loan for my condo in July'17. During the process, his team made multiple documentation errors that I kept correcting. I sent them an email during the process asking to be more thorough in their processes to prevent a mistake. Steven did help me close the loan in less than 21 days stipulated in my offer. It was a more expensive rate but I wanted to get the condo and we did close the deal. A few months later, I was getting a much better rate from another lender. While going through the process, the other lender mentioned that I cannot get a loan because I defaulted on my mortgage payments. I was surprised because I've had a ~800 credit rating all along. When I looked my credit report, Steven's incompetent organization had marked the start of my mortgage as July 2017 instead of August 2017 and marked me one month late on my payments. When I reached out to Steven to correct the mistake, he first refused to accept his mistake. I sent him copies of my credit report that showed that his company marked the start of my mortgage one month before I spoke to them. He did not accept his mistake but still agreed to have his service department send a correction to the credit agencies. It took two months before the error was corrected in all three credit agencies. My credit score went from 800 to 710 and I missed out on getting a much better rate and saving hundreds of dollars each month. Use Steven if you need to get a loan fast but be prepared to monitor your credit report closely. They will report you late before your mortgage actually starts.

This was the first mortgage company I talked to and it was a huge mistake to not talk to any others as I was originally advised. The owner reminds me of a used car salesman and only tells you what you want to hear to close the loan. After closing, they kept bragging about this stupid "certificate" and then proceeded to say my refinance was going cost $10,000 that I can roll into my loan. Seriously? My original loan agent recommended the 2-1 buy down - which was translated to I will not talk to you for two years and will not reach out to refinance when the rates drop "because you're already taking care of" with the buydown... Be careful, do not trust Neil or his team. I am actually annoyed that he knows how frustrated I was with his company and still has me on his contact list today. Zero class.
