I actually really like this store and I am grateful for it. Where else in madera can a kid go to get vans? Toms? Anything cool that the cool kids are wearing? This store actually managed to score me my first kiss back when I was in high school Lmao! It brings back good memories, promotes small business and it's worth spending your money here! Especially if you don't have the gas to drive all the way to Fresno! read more

Customer service sucked. Twin 8 year old boys tearing it up at Zero Gravity every weekend and we heard how great Viva was with the owner Brian being so personable. Unfortunately he wasn't there and the guy that helped us was not personable at all. Picture two 8 year old boys, eyes wide open and fascinated only to have this guy not be friendly or helpful with the questions they had. Gladly head back to Mikey at Prodigy. Simply for the customer service and interaction. read more

Viva Skateboards - Zero Gravity - been skating for 2 months and loving the community at Zero Gravity. - Skate Shops Near Me - Madera, California

I'm surprised to see anything less than a five star review much less a couple one star reviews. If you understand small business and simply the fact that madera is lucky to even have a skate shop then you can understand Bryan's prices and his selection. If you don't want to pay then go find a pac sun you goobs. I grew up getting my stuff from him back when he was in sugar hill/ground zero and he used to help out the kids all the time. He never was an ass or was mean, he was always super cool. Support Viva skateboards read more

a man that hates kids opened a SKATE SHOP? (yes) similar to "shoe shak" there's a preferred type of customer Viva favors. the skate selection isn't nuanced like a core shop would be, but Muñoz has been out of touch for decades... and word to the wise-- all skin folk ain't kin folk advisory is in full effect! support your local skate shop(but what if they're toxic?) choose wisely. read more

Really good deals on everything from Vans, men and women's clothes and boards. Way better prices than anywhere in Fresno. Also has an amazing team of workers:) read more

This place is definitely the hidden gold mine in Madera when it comes to Vans shoes and many other popular brands such as Nixon, RVCA, Volcom, etc. The owner is an awesome guy and always gives great deals. I don't think he ever charges the MSRP price on the tag, he always knocks off a pretty good chunk. It's way worth it to do your clothes shopping here compared to any of the big box or mall stores. You will find the same brands but save some money, and keep your money local. I buy all my vans here and most of my clothes. Truly awesome store! read more

Went in today just to check it out because of the few high rated yelp reviews. At first I thought it was closed because of the was the store looked from the outside. I liked the huge selection of clothing and accessories. I wasn't looking for a skateboard but did notice that the variety wasn't that big to choose from. However I'm pretty sure you will find something you life from their selection. The employee was really cool and talked to me and my son while we walked around helping us out. If your ever in the area stop by and give it a shot read more

Overpriced, I feel like I'm shopping in 2009 if I'm buying shoes or cause half of everything in the store he got for a fraction of the price cause everything is sooo old. And who still charges for grip when u buy a board? Kinda feels like Marshals. I'd rather drive to the Boardroom. read more
