Slices from a different visit were kinda old, worth the walk to go anywhere else. Long wait at the counter to order while staff are chatting and laughing in the back. It offered some of the only spiced potato wedges and they were amazing. Almost 20 years later, and it still has some of the best potato wedges. The pizza and chicken are made well. This is definitely the better choice out of the pizza options. The owners are courteous and the food is always promptly prepared. They always have reasonable deals and the prices are acceptable. The store itself is a little small and doesn't have much space to sit, the looks are simple, but it is clean inside. I definitely recommend this place if you're craving pizza or potato wedges.

Bad pizza, messed up order, terrible service - don't waste your time…read more I ordered two medium pizzas and 12 wings last night the bill came in just shy of $60. This was my second time ordering pizza at Johnny's and it was "okay" the first time around but I would rather support local business than the chain options in popping up in town. Immediately after arriving I checked the boxes and realized that instead of my medium pizza with pineapple, ham and red onion, they delivered a gluten free, cheese only pizza. The other pizza and wings order was correct. I contacted Pizza By Johnny through their website (since I ordered the pizza online) and informed them of the error and have not yet received a response. I originally opted to try Pizza By Johnny to avoid the chain options in town and to support local business but it's really not worth the trouble or the money. I mean courtesy aside, the pizza is basically like an off-brand Delissio. Unfortunately, there aren't many other independent pizza shops in town and I will have to opt for a chain going forward as the experience, product and response have all been completely unsatisfactory. Don't waste your time.

The cheese they use is really good and their toppings are good too, although they're a bit skimpy with the toppings which is why I took a star off. I've also had family and relatives comment on how good it is as well. This place is so underrated.
