My hair started massively shedding and I could hardly get out of bed so I made an appointment here to have a doctor in Vegas. When my labs came back my TSH was over 3 and I was expecting to be put on meds to get it back to 1, but I was told 3 is totally ok and I should feel fine. Dr Izkhakov said he didn't know why my hair would be falling out but I should do a sleep study since I can't sleep well (yeah, the high TSH does that) and it might be stress related (I have zero stress.) I sent my lab work to my last endo in Arizona and he immediately prescribed me thyroid meds again to lower my TSH. I already feel a million times better. Dr Izkhakov doesn't listen to how people actually feel and just assumes not having extremely high TSH numbers means we should feel amazing. I'll never leave my Arizona endocrinologist after this disaster, he at least listens and tries to figure out what to fix. I wasted $475 getting told nothing was wrong with me and my Hashimotos levels are fine when I felt like death and I'm rapidly going bald. Horrible. Added a star because I didn't have a long wait in the lobby and his assistants are nice.

I had zero energy, fatigue, joint pain and was not feeling like my beautiful, fun, funky self. I had been to 2 other endocrinologists and also seeing a PCP as I have a rare medical condition. I live w/1 adrenal gland due to a tumor I had removed 10 years ago. As it is rare, I am fairly educated on it as I have to be. There are only so many studies that have been done for people living with my condition long term and adrenal gland function. Dr. Castorino had ordered labs, reviewed my labs and knew exactly my condition and what needed to be done to get me feeling better. I am now feeling again like a fully functional adult and owe it to Dr. Castorino for taking the time to listen to me and understanding the basics of adrenal function. Thank you!

His care for my child really stands apart from the other practitioners we've seen over the years, including the very top MAPS- certified doctors in the country. Through my journey I have gained a lot of expertise in the biomedical treatment of autism symptoms and I can say that his recommendations are the best there is. His reports are very detailed and thorough. The supplements he recommends are the very best in terms of quality, but also from the perspective of ease of administration for a child. Now, if this is your first biomedical consult, you might be overwhelmed by the number of supplements he recommends. The way I look at it is he puts everything on the table so you can take over as Dr. Mom/Dad. This saves you money. Other practitioners might make things simple by offering one supplement recommendation per visit, but you have to keep going back to pay them more. The most important thing is my child is making real progress! Family, friends, teachers and therapists are commenting that they see the difference. I'm also grateful to Dr. Nik for pushing me to try S2C. I didn't really believe him, but it turns out he was right. My child is a brilliant speller!!!!

Office staff at front desk was friendly and helpful. Doctor assistant I saw for weight/BP and initial visit conversation was pleasant and personable. Doctor himself came in quickly, was professional with a warm demeanor, and addressed my concerns thoroughly before moving on. Dr. Falcone doesn't deliver babies anymore & I only need her for GYN needs as I'm not looking to get pregnant. She always arrives in the exam room with a big smile, she's super friendly, knowledgeable, gentle, caring & doesn't make you feel rushed. She's a great listener to any concerns or questions I have. One time when I arrived for my yearly exam I was super stressed after getting some bad news from my job & she actually took the time to let me confide in her on what was going on. This was so appreciated & she didn't need to do this for me, thank you because it helped to talk about the issue with the 1st human I happened to come in contact with after getting the phone call from my boss. I did have an issue with a staff member while waiting to be seen last year. She didn't normally work the front desk but she had a horrible demeanor & wasn't very professional. I did find out today that she no longer works there & that the doctor's had replaced their staff due to having too many issues with them so if you have run into any issues with them please give the doctor's another chance. I even had an issue getting a hold of my MD's MA last year & scheduling an appointment earlier this year. It does make it hard for patient's when they love their doctor but not their staff & unfortunately unprofessional, uneducated & rude staff can affect their practice. I was glad to know that something has been done about it. I love how they have their own lab in house so I don't have far to go when I want blood work done with my yearly exam. The phlebotomist has always been really nice, professional, gentle & friendly. I don't usually have to wait long to be called back & review home meds & what I'm in the office for. I do find it odd that the only vitals that the MA takes is your weight & blood pressure. No heart rate, respirations, temp. or your height. I have run into having trouble in not being able in getting an appointment for a "problem" in a timely manner which can be frustrating if it's something that needs attention & may be gone by the time you do get an appointment. I like when doctor's leave some extra time in their day to fill these requests. I'm so thankful that I have found Dr. Falcone after having my previous, young GYN retire back in 2020. 5 STARS for Dr. Falcone!! Thank you!
