Had to rate it to post it...but I wouldn't even give this place 1

First time visit to Pinehurst Dermatology & Mohs Surgery Center on 10/9/25 for annual mole/skin…read morecheck. Seen by Addison Ritchie, NP, who completed three biopsies to rule out Basal Cell carcinoma and Dysplastic Nevus. As of 11/19/25 (nearly six weeks since visit), no pathology results posted to patient portal and no call or letter in snail mail/email with results and next steps, but the center sends daily email reminders to pay my bill. Called the center on 11/19 and learned biopsy results not back from lab yet. Not at all pleased with Ms. Ritchie's follow-through and now beginning to wonder, based on Ritchie's lack of curiosity about the results, whether the biopsies were even necessary or just revenue for the center!

After she examined my wounds, she left and after 10 maybe 12 minutes of sitting, I went outside to ask if they were done and she replied yes. But never sent the young lady back in to cover my wounds, luckily I had my own supply. I let her know I used my own and her reply was "awesome." No apology for not sending the young lady back. She's horrible and they need to teach her how to deal with people. The first doctor that was working along side her was great, maybe Chaffee should shadow her! I will NEVER go back if she's the doctor I need to see. Kudos to the front desk staff, the assistant that took my vitals and the first doctor (my apologies I can't remember your name). To Chaffee and your med student, go back to the drawing board on how to treat people because you suck at it!

She put up an argument and didn't apologize. It wasn't the point of mispronouncing the name it was the way she went about it, very unprofessional. She honestly doesn't need to be working there as a nurse and dealing with people who don't feel well. We are a military family and it was just a terrible encounter. Her Name is Gabriella (Gabby)

After an hour and a half wait, the only person we had seen was the one getting the vitals and taking information. At about the one hour and 15 minute point, someone came in and said they had orders for x-rays. Finally at the hour and a half point, a physician's assistant came in and told us that they didn't have a foot surgeon. They would have to give us a referral to one of them. So we totally wasted just short of 2 1/2 hours with drive time there and back for absolutely nothing. There is NO excuse for the lack of communication nor the lack of common courtesy. We were supposed to see one of the female doctors, but after all their screw-ups, she didn't have the decency to even come in the room. I absolutely can't suggest strongly enough to ask your doctor for a referral somewhere else.

When we first got there, we changed into robes and then we were offered complementary drinks whether we wanted wine, a mimosa, tea, coffee or water. Then we did a couples massage and afterwards both got facials in separate rooms. The facials alone felt like a super relaxing experience because it included a foot massage and shoulder massage as well. They have a really cozy lounge area that we used in between the two services where we got to relax and enjoy our drinks. It was a Friday afternoon, but surprisingly there weren't a whole lot of people. Altogether, the best spa I've been to!
