I have been with the Rpk center more than 6 years but the doctor I had been seeing all this time…read morewas not friendly anymore, I truly felt uncomfortable. I finally was able to pay what I owed, bcz of a problem with my insurance. I explained everything, but the person in charge of the finance department talked junk to me after I made the last payment and she told me to find another clinic, I was shocked and I still don't know why she just told me in an ugly voice, so she faxed my primary care doctor and said I was let go because I didn't come to my appointment, yet it's there policy to not give you an appointment until you have paid the balance

I have been having a lot of problems trying to figure out the root of my pain. This process has…read moretaken me over a year to figure out and get with pain management. Very unprofessional here and not a good experience. Lets start with the front desk ladies laughed at how my name is spelled compared to how it is pronounced. I had appointment at 2:15pm today and did not get seen or was given any updates about the wait time as I waited in a room until 3:50pm. I waited for a hour with no updates or anything. I could hear through the walls the employee work drama and who doesnt like who and who cant do their jobs right along with complaining about patients. The Dr finally came to my room and I was explaining my problems and how its very frustrating that no one seems to know what going on with me. She just stared at me as if I were a inconvenience having nothing to say. I started to cry because of how overwhelmed I was with waiting for a hour with no updates and the front desk people laughing at me. She asked why I felt the need to cry. That was very very frustrating. This is a horrible place to come to.

Went here for outpatient surgery…read more The good: Dr. Mansfield is a no-nonsense knowledge ENT surgeon. He was able to diagnose an issue that 6 other dentists and oral surgeons missed. The staff is very friendly and personable. I can tell there are a lot of "regulars" and they and they treat them like old friends. The procedure itself was kind of terrible but the doc did his best to be fast and efficient. I could have gone under if I insisted but it only lasted 5 min instead of an all day recovery. The bad: Despite scheduling the procedure 6 weeks out they didn't plan to give me details (time?!/ whether I needed a driver, etc) until the day prior. This makes planning for help difficult if you are single and have a working spouse. I called several times and while everyone was polite, I was often on hold for a while and was disconnected a few times Day of the appointment I arrived 15 min early and still waited an hour past my apt before I went to the back. 2 hour visit for 5 min procedure Overall I give them 4 stars. The staff and doctors who need to be excellent are just that. If the office experience wasn't so frustrating they would get 5 stars.

After a VNG, Videonystagmography, still cannot tell you whether I know what is wrong. Mrs. Mehta, believe that is her name, I do not recommend. She was the final person on the chain of who I saw during two visits. What happened to the physicians? What ailments warrant seeing one of them instead of Mrs. Mehta? Don't intend to return and the symptoms are still present.

I had the same experience as the other reviewers here - show up no less than 30 minutes early and you will still have to wait....and wait.....and wait...and wait. Once I waited 90 minutes AFTER my stated appointment time before I was seen. No apology or even MENTION of making me wait. The staff is rude and treats us like it's a privilege to pay them, not the other way around.

You can be standing at the front window and they will close it. In the meantime you get to hear them carrying on with their personal conversation about the day before or what they are going to do after work. The providers are even worse. Very rude and they just nod their heads up and down not particularly listening to anything you have to say. I also heard them talking about bringing up injections more or to all patients because they received nice kickbacks/bonuses from them. So they don't really care if you get upset or not. You're just a number with dollar signs behind it. If you don't like the service someone else is behind you to fill your spot. The woman that I saw (Crystal Rios) told me that a medication that is prescribed for my PTSD problems was a conflict. When I asked why and stated it was never a problem before and I have been going to this place for years. She just blew me off and said "just because it is". When I asked about what I should do about it she just responded with "I'm not a psychiatrist. You can have a pain problem or a mental problem NOT BOTH. You need to choose which one bothers you the most". So if you can avoid this place I would. If you can't and referd their by Tricare avoid the previously stated employee!

Had to come in this past weekend and go to the ER! Actually went twice to get my follow up…read morebloodwork done. I had Dr. Smith and he was absolutely wonderful with my case. My nurse Erica made me feel so much better since the ER wouldn't let my husband come back due to not knowing anyone to watch our kids. She got my IV I'm on her first try because my veins are stubborn and blow easily. Theo was my tech and he got my IV on the first time, but as soon as they went to get my blood it blew as always. Erica was so gentle and through with my care and explaining everything to me. When I went the second time to get my follow up bloodwork I have nurse Kevin who did my blood and got it the first time and luckily he got my blood before it blew. (My left arm clearly doesn't like needles) I have a couple of different nurses and people who took care of me and checked on me Brian, Kaitlyn and I think Kelsi. They were all so nice and helpful through this experience. Overall Doctor Smith and Nurse Erica were my favorite and everyone was so nice and helpful. My experience due to what was happening wasn't easy so I thank you to the nurse and Dr. Smith who had to talk to me before I was discharged Saturday and Monday.

No stars! My 83 year old mom was sent to the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center by Village Green…read moreRehabilitation Center (a whole sad excuse of a medical facility in itself) at 7:00 a.m. The doctor ordered blood work and other tests. The ER decided to admit her at 2:55 p.m. for further observation. We were told they were preparing a bed for her. At 6:32 p.m. I received a message that her room was ready. I am typing this review at 8:02 p.m. I asked for the second time about what the holdup was for getting her to her room that was ready 2.5 hours ago. I was told again that they are waiting for transport to take her to her room. This creates a bigger issue, a patient with an assigned room is still lying in an ER room 2.5 hours later. This is a contributing factor why sick people set in the ER waiting room for hours before they are even seen by an ER doctor. In my opinion, this is a very inefficient system and needs to be revamped!
