Well, besides the fact that we didn't take proper measures to get internet during our stay since we relied on our cousins to do that, all I did was check-in to areas with my spotty internet and didn't think of checking in to the actual town. Well, here I am, five months later with a few shots from some of the most beautiful views I captured during my visit to Stockholm. Monteliusvägen is a gorgeous walking area about a quarter-mile long that shows gorgeous views of historic buildings, the glistening water and gorgeous homes and businesses surrounding the area. We arrived to the country at a good time during the summer, although they are known to have sudden changes in the weather in the middle of the day where it'll begin raining with thunderstorms out of nowhere. This day in particular served us well. One of the pictures was taken from the water because my lovely uncle and cousins gave us a tour around the city with their boat. It was a magical experience and I could not stop taking photos. If you visit Sweden and want to avoid the cold, visit during July (when they celebrate Midsommar) or August...just bring an umbrella.

The museum has several levels and well layout and organized. Staff are everywhere and friendly. On top level, there is a restaurant overlook the city. The view is just amazingly breathtaking, service is great. Foods and drinks are also good too. On street level, before you leave the museum, a small but plenty of variety of shops for shopping. There are several exhibitions throughout the year and they're all fantastic. Love this museum.

Their staging of exhibitions and curation are world-class. Their cafe and restaurant on their top floor is spectacular, and can satisfy a range of wants from dining to a coffee. Their prices for admission are fair. Plan for 1.5-2 hours for your visit, excluding time in the cafe or dining, and getting to and from the museum. We'd go back. We was the old town, from there to get to this place didn't take much time as I expected. and we really enjoyed the view along the way, well, it was a small hill to climb, but very interesting. There was quite a nice bar in right in the middle of Katarina Hissen, We wanted to find a sweat and sit down and have a nice break. But it was full of people, we couldn't really find a nice spot. So we just keep going around. the place is really nice, we were here quite a while, I think this used to be a lift for the locals to around the place easier, but now it just really for the view, the life doesn't work anymore. I saw there was a big area under construction, probably planning something for this. Speak about the area, Katarina Hissen is really close to area youngsters, many cools stuff around. Don't forget to go around and check them out. Katarina Hissen isn't the only place for the good panorama view in the city, but sure is one cool place to visit.

One of my favorite views of Stockholm!…read more I know Fotografiska is one of the popular spots, but I like the view here thanks to it being much higher. Despite coming in the Winter time with no sun, it was still a great place to snap pictures. It was pretty empty both times I went and there's a nice walking path along the edge in front of the park. Worth swinging by if you want to catch a cool view!

This is a quiet, calm street very different from the hipster bustle of Södermalm. Go here for the…read morevista, with spectacular views over Djurgården (with Gröna Lund), Gamla Stan (Old Town) and the water entrance to Stockholm. You can also look straight down at Stockholm Harbor, but that can hardly be considered scenic. Along the street are some old houses, the oldest (no. 34) from 1727 which does also contain a tiny museum showing the life in Stockholm during the 19th century. During summer there is an ice cream and "fika" opportunity in Kaffestugan. Easiest way to get here is to walk towards east from Slussen subway station.

To me, Medborgarplatsen feels like the heart of Stockholm. Well, Stockholm has two hearts, as one…read moreis definitely Sergels torg. But this is the warmer heart, the one that beats a little faster and sometimes makes you skip a beat. Generally speaking, Medborgarplatsen (literally 'The Citizens' Place') is cleaner than Sergels torg. It also has more character in my opinion. There's a skating rink in the winter (which is fake grass the rest of the year), the famous Snaps restaurant and club, wonderful Debaser, the spacious swimhall Forsgrénska badet, and of course Söderhallarna, with all of its shops and delicacies. Having said all that, there's not actually much to DO on Medborgarplatsen. Not the square itself, at any rate. Of course you can have lunch at Snaps or chill on the steps of Debaser or grocery shop at Coop or go to the movies in Söderhallarna...but that's kind of all around the square. The square itself is just transitional...a gateway to better things. But hey, the point is, it feels nice! Unlike the nearby Björns trädgråd just across the street, it feels lively and clean and safe. And it's probably the best spot in all of Stockholm for people-watching, if you want to see loads of Swedes!
