It's been the same dirt lot since the house was built over a decade ago. We finally decided to get it done so our new dog could have a nice place to play, especially during the summers, where we can control the heat levels. JJ and associate came out quickly and made me feel really comfortable. There was no weird upselling (I wanted something really plain) and no fear mongering. I could tell immediately that we were going to go with Rock N Block so I cancelled my other appointment with a different company and put my deposit down right away. Within hours, JJ had the plans to me and I got the HOA paperwork started. Once that was done, I was scheduled immediately to have my yard worked on. The day of, the workers came, did a final measurement and got to work. It took 3 days but it came out exactly like I was promised and had envisioned myself. The workers were extremely friendly and self contained. They were responsible and trustworthy. They were also very concerned with my happiness. They asked me if things were looking good quite a few times. They literally made my yard perfect. I'm still looking for imperfections and cannot find them. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. We did have a small hiccup where the workers didn't know they had to install a few other things but JJ made it right immediately and I can only be happy about that. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I was told it should have been less expensive but I don't think so. The job is immaculate and the items are gorgeous with great quality. The craftsmanship means a lot to me and I would pay for it again. I wish I took some before pictures but I completely forgot to. Imagine a literal nothing of a yard. Now, it's gorgeous and I can't wait to accessorize!

The workers were careless in the way they cut the turf boarders and installed the Bend-a-board edging. The turf edges rolled up in a matter of a few days and the boards lifter out of the ground. We had a great experience with JR's lawn Maintenance. From…read morethe initial consultation to the finished job, the professionals at JR's were great. The main concern was a leak coming from the pressure regulator/filter/valve. They not only replaced the entire assy., the crew rerouted the assy. to allow unobstructed room with all new parts. We also had our planter excavated about 3 feet down and after the roots and hard dirt was cleared, the entire irrigation drip lines and timer were all replaced, as well as a "Canopy irrigation" system of bubblers for our tree. We bought the soil ourselves for the excavated planter, (Go to Home Depot, it's cheaper than STAR) and the only charge for a "Backfill" was $25 per plant that went back in. Worth it, as they arranged everything and routed the bubblers perfectly. All said and done, this Company outdid themselves for 3 hours and cleaned everything up and even pulled most of the weeds that were all over our front rocks. Do yourselves a favor and have these guys do the project. They are REALLY good at it!!
