This is a long overdue review. I was referred to Eric back in January, and in February I had Visual Detailing do a full PPF, ceramic coat and a full window/roof UV tint on my Lucid Air. Eric was amazing to deal with. Knowledgeable, friendly, really up front and honest about everything. He is wonderful to work with. The car came out beautifully. And then a few weeks after picking it up, it was totaled in a crazy accident. Fast forward about six weeks, and I was fortunate enough to be able to buy a new Lucid Air to replace it. I didn't even shop around, I texted Eric before I even picked it up to reserve a time for him to work on it. This time around, I wanted something different, something beyond the factory look. I showed Eric pictures and trusted him to pick out materials. I was not disappointed. The effort and dedication he put into creating the look of the car for me was beyond anything I expected. It is about the nicest looking Lucid around and somewhat unique. It still brings a smile to my face every day. The quality of the finishes is excellent and really lasts with hardly any maintenance. All I've done is wash the car a couple times a month, and it still looks as good as when it left Visual Detailing nine months ago. The paint still shines like glass. The PPF has already kept some nicks out of the paint. The Air has a full glass canopy on top, no roof. The UV coating is doing a great job of keeping the car cool in summer. I called Visual Detailing and was greeted with a kind and professional person named Eric. Customer service was excellent from my first phone call until the end of my service when I drove off. It was already the end of the day when they were closing up shop and while I was being assisted I was further welcomed to the establishment by two amazingly well-behaved doggies. Visual Mobile Detailing came highly recommended to me. I'm not easily impressed by other people's cleaning skills or attention to detail. However, my friend swore they would pass the test. I decided to give them a shot because I had this weird coconut water + coffee + tea + other random things stain on my passenger seat that I could just not get out. I tried every leather cleaner I could find. I figured it would be better than re-upholstering. I spoke with Eric to set up an appointment. He was so patient with me as I didn't respond and would then text him 3 weeks later. We quickly figured out a place to do the detailing. I was trying to get it done at work but he mentioned that the plaza might not like that (seeeee great attention to detail!) Cameron came out all the way to Encinitas to detail 2 cars. He did such an exceptional job. My car honestly looks better than new. Every since crevice was cleaned + dusted. There's no weird stain on my seat anymore. Also, my seats look so nice + not oily (you know when you go to the car wash and they put that weird substance on your leather so it's super slippery and gross?). I also found out that my rims are dark grey, not black. Oh! And also, I have those seats were there's a bunch of tiny holes + some might've had crumbs in them that wouldn't come out, they're all gone now too! Color me happy + impressed. My GMC Envoy has gone to Burning Man i the Black Rock Desert for at least 6 years in a row. If you have never seen anything come back from Burning Man just imagine taking a giant bowl of flour, coloring it brown and submerging something in it. The Black Rock Playa isn't sand - it's the finest dust you can imagine and the dust storms get it through everything - and there is at least 1 big dust storm every year. I didn't think it was possible to get the Envoy even close to anything resembling "clean" not to mention "spotless". Every inch of it was coated with the fine dust which had never been cleaned out year after year. Think of the character "Pig Pen" from Charlie Brown (if you get the reference). Anyhow, It had been relegated to only being used for Burning Man. I have another car that I use in the rest of my life. Anyhow, I wanted to get the car in better shape. I figured a detailer could make it passable. That's all I really expected. I called Eric and told him about it - he wasn't familiar with Burning Man but he said he would be able to handle it. When he arrived I think he almost turned around and left (just kidding Eric) - he actually didn't blink ... but he did say the Envoy would put his skills to the test. A full day of work later and ..... it looks as brand new as possible. It really looks close to brand new aside from the dings which he obviously wasn't going to take out. I was BLOWN AWAY. Perfect. Recently purchased a 2017 Audi S7 with very little miles on it (less than 10k!) and wanted to make an investment in making sure that the car looked as good 5 years down the road as it does today (I tend to keep cars a long time). With that being said I did some research and came across ceramic coating which is like a hard shell that protects your cars paint and you never have to wax again. After carefully researching other options I called Eric, told him what I was looking for and took my car to him to apply the ceramic coating. He took his time inspecting the car and found some uneven paint in the rear quarter panel that I had missed (looked like there was a minor accident as the wheel was scrapped a bit too). He and I discussed options and I decided to spend extra money to have the area wet sanded so the paint matched the rest of the car and, while it wasn't cheap, I am glad that I did as it turned out beautifully. One of the things that I appreciated is that Eric never pressured me into doing anything extra, he just laid out the options and let me make my decision.
