Turned out the earbud covers were not simple to replace, so I ended up taking my time to thoroughly clean them. Sounds minor, but first impressions are critical, and when I've got 100 things to do to get ready for a show, last thing I need is a last minute snag, especially driving 40 minutes each way to pick up and drop off the unit.

The office staff was warm, welcoming, and accommodating, especially as we made several changes leading up to our event. They had nearly everything we needed, with the exception of the patio umbrellas they had advertised on social media as arriving in July, which unfortunately never became available. Unfortunately, our delivery experience and the follow-up customer service were very disappointing. I paid an additional $170 for special same-day delivery because our event in Huntington Beach began at 11:00 AM. We specifically did not want the rental items delivered the day before and exposed overnight to moisture and dampness. I asked multiple times about the delivery time and was repeatedly told our order would arrive at 8:00 AM. On the morning of the event, I received a text indicating an approximately 8:30 AM delivery, but the truck did not arrive until close to 9:30 AM. With an 11:00 AM event start time, that hour made a significant difference in our ability to set up. Once the delivery arrived, there also seemed to be very little sense of urgency. Items were unloaded one at a time, beginning with umbrellas. We specifically asked for the tables to be unloaded first so we could begin setting up while the remaining items were brought in, but the process continued slowly despite our event being less than two hours away. What disappointed me most was the lack of communication. Had we been told in advance that an 8:00 AM delivery could not be honored, we could have planned accordingly. I called Baker Party Rentals to request a refund of the $170 special-delivery fee because the service we paid extra for was not provided as promised. I was told someone would call me back. After receiving no response, I called a second time and was again told I would receive a return call. I never did. We spent more than $2,000 with Baker Party Rentals, so the lack of follow-up was especially disappointing. The showroom staff and the experience leading up to the event were positive, but the delivery and lack of response afterward significantly affected our overall experience. If you are considering paying extra for special same-day delivery, I would recommend you don't!!

I emailed photos of the event space and worked with Geno on what would fit and look good in the space. The rental was delivered timely and the set up was perfect. The second time we used Legacy Party Rental at the outdoor event area in my community. Again, the delivery and pick up was timely and my request to move the layout of the tables was accommodated even after they set up the furniture. The prices are super reasonable compared to other rental companies in the area. I highly recommend Legacy Party Rentals and will be using them again in the future.
