Absolutely Not Worth It -- Constant Problems, Zero Accountability, and False "Luxury" Claims
If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. Living here has been one of the most stressful, disappointing, and frustrating experiences I've ever had. This building was sold as a "luxury community," but there is nothing luxury about it -- not the management, not the maintenance, and definitely not the experience of living here.
Parking:
Parking is a complete nightmare. After 9 PM, there's almost never any parking left. If you have a second car, you're forced to pay $150 a month for an additional parking space -- but even then, there's no guarantee you'll actually find a spot when you get home. If you don't pay the extra fee, your only option is to park on the street, where there's almost never space available, or end up parking on the grass like so many other residents. For what we pay to live here, it's completely unacceptable.
Amenities and Maintenance:
The amenities here are a total joke. The pool has been "under maintenance" for nearly three months, and the barbecue area -- which management promised would open when the building did -- has never opened at all. The package room took almost nine months to open, and during that time I lost multiple packages because delivery drivers didn't know where to deliver them. The trash chute broke for two weeks, got "fixed," and then broke again shortly after. The service elevator has been out of order for months, and the two front elevators break almost every single week -- sometimes both at once -- leaving residents waiting forever just to get upstairs.
Safety and Cleanliness:
Police are constantly at the building because of problems with other tenants, and yet nothing ever gets resolved. Security guards are useless -- they spend most of their time on their phones and do nothing to stop random people from the street and even homeless individuals from using the pool (when it was working) or hanging around the property even now that it's closed. There are stray cats everywhere bringing fleas, which end up affecting residents' dogs. On top of that, some residents have extremely aggressive dogs they don't control, which makes it unsafe to even walk your pet around the property.
Living Conditions:
Every time it rains, the power goes out and you have to manually reset the electrical panel just to get your lights back on. Our AC broke, and we haven't even been living here for a full year. The floors are such cheap quality that they dented just from our couch sitting on them. The fire alarms randomly go off during the night and day for no reason and stay blaring until someone finally comes to fix them. The hallways constantly smell like weed, and it even seeps into your apartment because the ventilation system is done wrong -- the smell travels directly through the vents. The entire building feels cheaply built, rushed, and completely neglected.
Management:
Management is by far the worst part of living here. They are unhelpful, dismissive, and disconnected from what residents actually deal with. Every time a new manager takes over, things somehow get worse. If you ever try to voice your concerns or complain about the ongoing issues, they'll simply decide not to renew your lease instead of addressing the problems. It's their way of silencing residents instead of fixing anything.
Overall Experience:
The entire building is a disaster -- poorly managed, constantly breaking, and completely misrepresented as "luxury." From daily maintenance issues to safety concerns, to broken amenities and useless management, this place has been nothing but stressful. It smells, it's noisy, it's unsafe, and it's overpriced. The security does nothing, the building is filled with problems, and management simply doesn't care.
Save yourself the time, money, and stress. This place is all talk and zero quality. It's one problem after another, and the only thing consistent here is how little management cares. I would never recommend this place to anyone -- it's been a total nightmare from day one. read more
