If I did any kind of work with my hands -- trimming trees, working in the yard, even trying to play golf -- my hands would go completely numb. I actually had to stop playing golf altogether because I couldn't even finish nine holes before my hands went dead. On top of that, I had a burning sensation around C2-C3, and an MRI a couple of years ago showed six bulging discs and a pinched nerve. I was wearing wrist braces every night because if I didn't, my hands would go numb and hurt horribly. My neck range of motion was terrible -- I could barely turn my head far enough to check for traffic when changing lanes. Fast-forward three months of going to Freeform Chiropractic three times a week, and the difference is unbelievable. My neck mobility has improved dramatically -- I now have full range of motion. Their practice is extremely rare in that they see you in their own individual rooms, listen to your issues, work on you in there and sparingly have you doing exercises in a joint communal room, and even when that happens, it is spacious, not crowded and is quietly relaxing. The whole experience from start to finish is a rare experience of tranquility, relaxation and expertise (most are doctors) that keeps their focus entirely on you throughout the session without constant distractions from other PT's and clients. After a scheduling incident where I made my appt over a month in advance, they changed my appt time the day before without informing me. I received the auto text alert and I called them telling them I have clients to see as well and cannot change my appt time. They did not apologize or give me any reason for the change but refused to move it back to my original time and said if I couldn't make it, I'd have to cancel. That was very upsetting and I had to cancel since I can't reschedule my clients like they did. I still had 5 massage certificates here and liked a specific massage therapist. So I decided to continue to come, this time never scheduling during my lunch time if I have to work. It was going well for a short time. But when I called back to get more massages, Dr. Young got on the phone and asked me why schedule more if I was upset with them before. I felt the sense of unwelcoming and rudeness in his voice. They never once apologized for the scheduling incident or fixed it. Instead they were rude about it before and again now. So I went ahead and canceled all of my certificates and had them refunded me, which they were super happy to do and quite instantly. They obviously don't care about customer satisfaction and would rather lose their customers since I can no longer recommend them after how their staff and doctor handled the situation. Usually I don't give extreme poor ratings. Either the goods/services have to be extremely bad but another important factor is poor/rude customer service. It's sad because I'm in the same type of industry and their staff/doctor could have handled it better if they truly care about their patients.
