Just left the salon after a pedicure walk-in. I should have read the other reviews as it sounds like I experienced some of the same lackluster service and dishonesty as other dissatisfied clients. As soon as I walked in, I was asked to pick a Polish color and one of the staff pointed at a box of nail samples. This is my first time at this salon. At no time did they ask if I wanted regular polish or gel. This is a Sneaky and deceptive way to get a client to choose a more expensive polish service without having to tell them such. I picked a polish color and was escorted to the pedicure chair. The staff member never asked about the comfort of water Temperature-Luckily, I do not mind it on the hotter side. Very little attention was paid to the actual pedicure, even after I asked the staff member to please smooth out the heel an area around the big toes. I don't use my bare feet like Fred Flintstone, but I am currently at home looking for a pumice stone to finish the staff member's job. Completely swindled. I'd rather first earn a spot in the Guinness book of world records for the longest toenails before I ever step foot in this salon again. Only reason to award two stars is for the comfortable massage chairs. read more

Moving from the city to Del Rio has been such a culture shock but coming to Vista Nails made me feel like I was back in the city! It was so nice & modern! The decorations were on point. I made a 4p appt on a Wednesday and I was taken care of right away! I've read other reviews saying how they had to wait hours but maybe they have gotten better since then because my experience was the total opposite. Holland did my pedicure and it came out so beautiful! She did not rush, she took her time, and actually care for the ways my toes looked. At the end she even asked me if I liked them & if I wanted to change anything. This is definitely a hidden gem in Del Rio!! I 100% reccomend. read more

My appointment was at 4 waited there for a long time...when it was my turn showed the guy a picture of what I wanted and asked him if he could do that and he said yes he took so long doing my nails the other lady had to help him with one hand...he was suppose to do white lines on the bottom corners...I asked him ur not doing the white lines then he said i don't know how to make them then I told him u told me you could...he got mad and he told the other lady to help him she did one hand didn't even look like the pic...the hand he did white lines there crooked...I told them if they could fix them and told me to go the next day....but I wont even go back...i paid $45 for my nails and was not happy with them...Yall shouldn't tell people y'all can make those nails when y'all really can't... read more

My daughter and I came in for a quick pamper while in town for family gathering. Youngest girl there did my mani pedi and was amazing. Softest touch and best foot massage ever! The older lady did my daughters manicure and was great in helping her pick her color and was very precise and detailed. Would recommend them to anyone and we will definitely be back next time we are in town. read more

I called to book an appointment a week in advance, and they told me walk ins only during the holidays. So I asked them does that pertain for everything and they said yes. Then I walked in and they immediately turn me down when I said I needed acrylics. They said "they were fully booked" and I mentioned they told me walk ins only. She said only for pedicures and manicures. Maybe there was a miscommunication, but this wasn't the first time they have denied me a service. I was 5 minutes late to an appointment one time and the same lady told me she already replaced someone in my spot. So I rescheduled and waited there in the salon, the next women walked in and was taken in right away. It was very rude that they made me wait but accepted a walk in. And it seems like the same lady is always denying me. The only reason I tried coming back is because it's a small town and there's not a lot of nail salons but this is the last time I will ever come. I don't know if it's how I dress or look but she makes me feel like I'm not welcomed there and I don't know why. Do not recommend. read more

I visited here while on a visit to Del Rio to see friends. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The tech was efficient, other than a tiny nick on one of my toes, which I barely felt, and did not bleed. She didn't use the grater, only a pumice stone, which I was happy about. I've been to vista nails a handful of times and have had a "2 star" experience every time but this last visit really topped it off. I got a pedicure and gel on my hands without a manicure (buffing, cuticle treatment, etc.) and an eyebrow & lip wax. The wax lady was in such a rush since the store was full.. So much so that she didn't check the heat of the wax and burned me. My skin literally came off. Upon paying, I was charged for a manicure for my hands and gel for my toes when in fact I did not receive those services. And to top it off, I did not tip the wax lady and she threw a fit over it. I had an appointment at 6pm and no one started working on my nails until 6:45. Then when the lady started working on my nails they were rushing and did not pay any attention to detail. I was very frustrated after the 5th time they cut my cuticles or under neath my nails from the file and drill. I honestly would have rather them say they can get me in another day where they could take their time. It's very frustrating to pay for very low quality nails. None of my nails are straight or even with one another. Definitely the worst full set I have ever had!! read more

I finally convinced my husband to come with me and get a pedicure. We had appointments at the same time, his with Pam and mine with Gracie. I've been to many nail spas but this was my first in Del Rio. The salon was clean and the service was friendly and professional. My husband was hooked as soon as he sat in the massage chair. He is no longer a virgin and had one of those ah-ha moments. Us girls know how to get the good going and every guy who listens to us figures it out fast. Both techs did a great job! Pretty much sucks, I have gone a handful of times because Del rio doesn't have many options. I've gotten acrylics 3 times, which I'm lucky if I have all 10 on 5-7 days later. They lift literally the next day. Gel sucks also, mine was chipping HOURS later, not days.. Hours. Pretty expensive, especially for the quality read more
