I went to get hay a couple weeks ago and the guys that load the hay thought it was a good idea to throw the hay from the top of the hay stack. When I got home I realize my tailgate has a huge dent and now it's hard to shut. I went and talked with the owners and of course the guys denied it. The owner said he was going to turn it into his insurance and I haven't heard a word since, tried calling him and no answer. Very disappointing!! Well a few weeks ago I bought a supplement for my goat. Was disappointed on the small bag size but other wise wasnt a bad experience. Went back last Saturday to get more since I live in Vail and there was none on the shelf in the back so I went to the counter and asked if it would be on the next shipment in and was told no it was on a pallet in the back but id need to come back in a few days because they weren't gonna break down the pallet. You would have been better off telling me it wasnt in yet but would be next week. Instead you lost a customer by showing the sale wasnt important. I would rather drive to Tucson to get what I need. read more

I love the small town feel when going here there always a lot of employees and they are helpful. They've always had masks on ( even though masks are crap). The one guy with long blonde hair is a tad cranky at times but none the less it's a decent place and I'm glad to Have something so close. read more

I love this place! The staff is helpful and friendly. I like that they deliver hay. The dog foods have no "fillers". I can get collars, toys, food, and tools, for just about any breed of animal! I have found that they have just about whatever I need for each of my pets. If they don't have it, they will do their best to get you something comparable, or point you in the direction of where to go. This is my preferred "pet" store. read more

I have been buying all my feeds, tack, chickens, pheasant and quail from vista feeds from the day they opened. The employees are very accommodating and Knowledgeable of the products they sell, if they do not have it they will get it for you, As for the Covid if you are afraid please stay home, staying safe is your own responsibility, not others and you should not depend on others to keep you safe. Since they started the business they have been very nice to have around for our cats' and dogs' supplies. During this time with mask mandates, they have been very understanding of my inability to wear a mask and i very much appreciate their patience and support. The food and snacks they stock for cats and dogs are of higher quality which I also appreciate for our animals' long term health. Highly recommend!! read more

Don't buy your chickens here! First, we were told they only had 4 wk olds when we went to get chickens. We just finished our coop and it was a big day for my kids so, of course, we didn't want 4wk olds but decided to buy them, against our better judgment. Found out later there were older chickens in the back! Either the employee was so inept he didn't see a pen full of chickens at his place of employment or he was trying to pawn off his hundreds of 4 wk old chickens on us. We ended up getting one that was clearly deformed and sickly (clearly I should have looked at them better) but he seriously just threw 4 chicks in a box and handed them to us. When I called about this, they said it was a miscommunication. The end. Never going there again. read more

I am glad they have knowledgeable staff, and a great location for many of us that live way out here. I wish I could buy all my supplies from this store, but they are just not competitive with their prices. I can actually order all my supplies online, have it shipped to my door, for usually 10 to 15% less than what they charge for the same item. read more

This place is disgusting. The inside is clean but once you walk outside there are dead chickens in every area. There were piles of bones and feather in the coops. There were dead chicks on the floor by the hay and by the feed bags. I can't imagine the pest problem with all the dead stuff, I don't want that with my animals feed. I understand things die, but clean it before it decomposes completely on a property that also sells feed. read more

Vista Feed &Supply is a sister store to OK feeds on Fort Lowel, which has always been my favorite feed store for many years. It is so nice to have this store on my side of town. LOVE it! The prices are great, they have a good selection, for indoor and outdoor pets, including cages, wire and penning needs. They also have LOTS of beautiful healthy chickens of many varieties. I was looking for a hooded light fixture for a heat source for my baby chicks, I found one at Walmart for $10 that was very cheaply made and would only accept a 100 w bulb. Vista had a big heavy duty one that had a ceramic fixture and a safety guard on it that will accept a 250 w heat bulb in it for only $13! The staff has always been helpful and friendly. read more
