My experience at Vista has been wonderful! Before attending, I tried university and online school, both of which did not work for me. Vista made it easy for me to go to school while still working 40 hours/week. The teachers, staff, and students were all friendly, supportive, and motivating. I am in the dental assisting program. I enjoy that we spend half of class in lecture, working on homework and other activities and the other half of class in the hands in lab. Highly recommend the DA program at Vista to anyone that wants to go to school while still having to work. read more

This "college" is a complete scam. Not only are 99% of their programs non-accredited, they will charge you $20,000+ for a diploma program that you could take at Kilgore College or TJC for less than $5,000. Employers see Vista College as a complete joke and a diploma or degree from here is highly unlikely to get you anywhere. Do yourself a huge favor and do not attend Vista College. read more

Decent learning environment. Tuition is outrageous. Some teachers are good while others are mediocre. The advisor are there to get to enroll and pay them $20,000 for a certificate that at TJC might cost you at most $3,800. The career services person showed the most unprofessional resume I have ever seen and advised me to make mine similar. One of my professors had recently found it with other printed papers and laughed about it with myself and another professor. I was able to learn valuable skill in my field however I do not recommend this college. Many employer are aware the graduates from Vista are not always the most professional. read more

The IT program is not what I was promised. Going here is beyond expensive,21K just for a diploma, and about 35k for an associates degree. The IT dept is basically on their own. It took over 3 months to get a wireless adapter, and it has been 6 months and we have not even received our operating systems. You pay all this money just to go to class and watch online videos... it has been absolute hell for our class. we had a 10 week sub who could not speak english well at all, and taught us NOTHING AT ALL. We are all struggling because of that. the school does not care at all. I would never advise anyone to take IT there. They cram semesters worth of info into 5 week at a time classes . HATE IT. REFUND. DO NOT ATTEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
