On some of the negative reviews about difficulty scheduling -- I've never noticed anything out of the ordinary. Blizzard? Extreme cold? Sure, it's New England; things happen. In the rare occasion of a delay or cancellation (for me, only once or twice over the last 4 years?), it seems to be because the business cares about the well-being of their employees as much they do our pets. I've also done in-home and external boarding - it's like a mini summer camp for E, photos and updates come regularly, and he's always a little sad to come home. I've tried to work with other services (starts with R and ends with over) and LL's is 1000% better.

Given the hazardous condition, I immediately disposed of the damaged items to protect my pet's safety. I provided photographic evidence to the retailer but was informed that a refund would only be considered if the original items were returned, despite their unsalvageable condition. The retailer's refusal to address the issue initially and their policy of not providing refunds for defective items appears unreasonable and potentially violates consumer protection laws. After communicating with them, new product was shipped.

And yes, she will use her teeth if she feels she has to. Our vet charged us FORTY dollars for a clipping the last time we had an exam, and they didn't even get all of her nails! There were still 3 in the back that needed to be clipped, and they said they weren't able to do it. Huh? For forty bucks and a room full of puppy pros, I'd assume you'd be able to handle clipping my dog's nails - but that is a review for another establishment. ;) Knowing all of this made it tough to take her anywhere... most places wouldn't even attempt it. I read the reviews for Stinky's about doing nails for dogs that are, let's say... persnickety. That sold me... I had to give it a try. In order to get this job done, it took 4 people. Me, my husband, Jo-Ann, and her assistant... but, it DID get done. And my dog was fine - all nails neatly trimmed, no other muss or fuss. The manager mentioned to me that she and some other staff had taken her to the self service area of destination dog to get her cleaned up. My girl is a fluffy cloud with a double coat so matting is a serious problem for her and sometimes her nether regions, well, need some clean up despite her sanitary cut. For three years I have been nothing but thrilled with the service and care that Tally has received from Cami and the rest of the walkers. From last minute schedule changes to dealing with all my dog's idiosyncrasies and health issues, they have consistently been understanding and accommodating. Recently Tally had to miss several walks because she was in the hospital. When I finally picked her up in the hospital, we came home to a get well card and a new toy from GWTD. These people care and it shows. Even now that I'm planning to move out of my current home, I refuse to move very far because there's no way I would trust any other walker the way I trust GWTD.

I met with Cami, found her to be sincerely fond of dogs and decided to try leaving Max under her care. I was pleased with the results and Max seemed extremely happy with his new care-giver. Gone With The Dogs is now the first place I call when I need to leave Max for a long weekend. I feel very comfortable that he is getting the personal attention and care that he receives at home.

A bath and cut for my dog was about $120 which is an amazing and totally fair price. My dog has been having a lot of mats but the groomer did a great job at untangling and de-matting. My Scottie came back smelling fresh and looked super happy. I was told he was a good dog and had fun playing with the other pups there (which is unheard of due to his r reactive personality). Its a couple who let up to 3 dogs stay at their house. Rivka works from home, so your dog will always have someone there - not to mention there's almost always another pup there. The people there are amazing. Super friendly, caring and just love the dogs. I trust them 100% with oscar. Because they only allow 3 dogs at a time, they fill up quick... so make sure to book asap.
