Since about 3 months of pregnancy I've had progressive severe pain in my SI joints that got to the point where I haven't been able to straighten my legs when lying down for months. I had resigned myself to this just being part of pregnancy. Due to a a move, I got a new midwife a few weeks ago who suggested I see Dr. Nicole. She spent time listening to exactly what my symptoms were and asking questions about the triggers. She then adjusted me while explaining everything the whole time. She's very experienced with pregnant women which made me feel super comfortable. After the adjustment she had me lay on my back and straighten my legs. I was so shocked to be able to do that without pain. I left the appointment feeling so much relief that I burst into tears when I got into the car. Since then, every movement I make seems effortless (despite the huge belly) and I'm actually looking forward to labor!
