Scam - you will loose your money! Take a look at Trip Advisor, they are not good and I don't think there is a single good review.
My wife and I are planning a trip to London this summer. We attempted to purchase two Oyster Cards and 1 tourist map of London. When we tried to add the map to our Oyster Card order, we only had the option to buy 1 package of 100. When we reached out to customer service (the only time they responded), they told us that they had a glitch in their website and we would have to do a separate order. If we continued, we would have incurred international shipping fees twice. This should have been our first clue that this was a scam and shouldn't have ordered anything.
However, we were stupid and ordered the Oyster Cards thinking it would make things easier when we arrive in London. We never got our Oyster Cards. I reached out to their customer service 3 times, and their reservations team 1 time via email. The first two times, I know my email went through, but I was ignored. I reached out yesterday to their customer service and their reservations team (hoping they could help) and the email bounced back saying it couldn't be delivered.
I will have to have my credit card company dispute the charge.
I can't imagine that they are truly associated with the British Tourism Board unless the goal is to scam tourists or discourage tourism in the UK. If they are really associated with the British Tourism Board, shame on you. Shame on you for taking money you didn't earn. You are representing the UK and not some third world country. If you don't want to earn my money honestly, I'll take it to the EU next time where they will appreciate the business and treat tourists fairly.
Once again, do not buy anything as it is a scam! Do yourself a favor and take a look at the reviews on other sites such as Trip Advisor. read more
