    I would not recommend this facility for kids. The doctor had absolutely no patience. I would rate them zero stars if I could.

Upon reaching the desk, I check-in with…read moreEmily and after PAYMENT is made, Ashley immediately leads me to the room with the 2 MACHINES: one focusing on a balloon and the other flashes bright lights. Right after, Ashley leads me to the actual eye EXAM ROOM, ... to the letters, etc. The 3RD ROOM, Dr. Roberts makes sure the newest equipment is what is being used. I truly appreciate how Dr. Roberts actually explains details of the eye exam results: pictures and some important details of certain symptoms to be aware of, as we get older. The doctor gives out contact SAMPLES and his highly recommended brands. I opt to get glasses and Emily takes the time to actually walk around with me and personally pick for me based on my preferences: any cost-effective frame with hinges and preferably in gold. In less than 15minutes, we found one and Emily helped me looked online for a different color (gold and black) than on the display. With frame and lenses , with anti-glare and blue-light feature, (and using my insurance), I am ecstatic to pay $131. I made sure to ask for the detailed breakdown of the exam and RECEIPTS, and Emily hands me a cute PACKET with everything in it. Overall: immediate acknowledgement when walking in, a very prompt exam process, personable and attentive staff, and the smoothest and most efficient eye exam of my life!

    3 strikes, you're out! Nice people earned them the one star…read more 1. Being on a Medicaid plan, I didn't expect to pay $44 out of pocket. 2. Got an email saying your order is ready to pick up. When I got there, 2 signs on the door said they were closed AND if you were picking up an order, knock. The manager told me HE couldn't dispense anything. The Dr. just retired so there was no one certified to ... [lame excuses follow]. Nothing in the email hinted about the closing. 3. Next day I called before making the drive. "Of course we're here!" and the same excuse from yesterday. Yeah, yeah. When she unboxes the glasses, I see they used a different color frame! I picked out purple. She showed me ones that were labeled "light brown" - not the same! She started to explain how they would fix the mix-up, but I told her that was 3rd strike, and I was done. Refund my insurance and me. Today the $44 is back in my account and I'm never going near that place again. Extra innings: That was in May. It's now Sept and my insurance still hasn't gotten the refund. I'm on the phone between "MyEyeDr" & my insurance, trying to untangle the mess so I can get new glasses!

This Morris guy, kept asking me about my contacts received several months ago. I told him, I don't want contacts, I came for my glasses. Again he goes into contacts...... and again, the contacts, and again I told him, I am here for glasses, and laid a pair on desk in front of him. He turns and asks about my glasses ( on the counter in front of him). I am a highly trained medical personnel, and realized this discussion was not sinking in. He is asking about a product right in front of him, and doesn't know why? He needs some customer education, too bad that isn't part of their curriculum. So I left.

    They made 2 pairs of glasses for me that were supposed to have identical prescriptions. It was…read moreobvious that they were different. When I took them back, the tech checked them and said they were "fine." "You're telling me these have the identical prescription?" They're fine. When I told her I was going to get a 2nd opinion from a different shop, She re-checked them, then admitted that they'd used the wrong prescription on the pair in question. She then stated that they would replace the lenses with my new prescription (from a different provider--because I KNEW they'd messed up somewhere). Because she never said "The prescription in the lens matches the prescription on the order," I think she knew the first time she checked that they were made incorrectly. PLUS their phone system was malfunctioning and nobody could call in to the shop. Calls go directly to the call center where they take a message but take no further action to serve their customers.

No big deal. But when my new glasses were ordered she would neither give me a chance to test it nor allow me to inform her to make adjustment on my glasses based on my convenience. She just kept agitating me by making me nervous unwantedly and she had a bad attitude. On the top of that I asked her can I come back again if my glasses don't fit me right by making an appt. She was still getting irritated by not understanding my point. I called her again and she was still getting irritated unwantedly. I called the corporate office then they gave me an exact timing to come in the morning. My glasses fit properly no problem with no issues but she needs to be more considerate with customers instead of insulting them. The only reason I said experienced better by giving 2 stars because she did it correctly. In the future I am going to get my eye exam done somewhere else. Read less
