BEWARE!!! Horrible dizzying lenses, employees unable to resolve glasses I cannot see out of,…read morerefused to refund me. Purchased 2 frames & ended up having 3 exams trying to figure out why the lenses weren't working. I was dizzy, couldn't focus, felt my eye pulling and over the 5 months working with them to resolve the issue, nothing improved. I was determined to find a solution for these expensive glasses I really needed them to work (obviously). Employees continually argued that it wasn't the lenses because I had the best lenses and the prescription went all the way to the edge which they said was an upgrade. (Meaning I paid more for the prescription to reach the edge of the lens ). Frustrating process included the employee teaching me to turn my head to see out of different parts of the lens (heard her tell many others the same thing. My thought is the glasses should work for me, not the other way around. But ok... I tried.) I asked if they could just make one pair into readers with no prescription on top- (trying to find a solution) they said no. No? Why? I paid for them, I couldn't see close or far out of these lenses! I figured I'd use one pair for far and one for near- not what I went in for but I was desperate to find a solution. They wanted to charge me again. I've worn progressive lenses for years. I took my glasses on vacation with me, suffered an injury because I never saw the change in the pavement. I stopped wearing the glasses. This was after a month of "just try them and see." Came back in and had 2 more eye exams... nothing changed about my prescription. I tried again to wear the glasses. The glasses continued to make me dizzy, unfocused, when I took them off I was dizzy and unfocused and started getting headaches. They tried lowering the progressive line, didn't work. I tried again anyways. Another optometrist working at the desk at the same Pearl told me Pearl now use Veralux lenses and they don't work for everyone. Told me to bring in an old pair (before they used veralux) that worked and they could asses what to do. But... another employee said he shouldn't have said that. Argued that wasn't the reason. They refused to give me a refund. They refused to fix them. They said if I want to change them I have to pay for them even though the 2 pairs of prescription glasses NEVER worked for me. Said they have a new manager that " doesn't care about customers, only numbers," there's nothing they can do for me. So now I have pretty, expensive, useless glasses and I'm out $900! Guess what, the old lenses I dug out of a drawer on his advice, to bring in for comparison, the lenses that were from a few years ago, they work fine. So I guess he was correct. My daughter had glasses made at the same time as me. She also couldn't see, made her dizzy. She also couldn't focus. She took hers to Warby Parker and they fixed them for her. This is one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had as a customer. They gave me a sh*t product, NO resolution, wasted my time and a lot of money. BUYER BEWARE!
