The staff are lovely and friendly and it is very central to the town. They have always been helpful if I had ever had a problem with my eyes. I went for a test a few months ago when I got told I needed glasses - I had a quick look around and the prices amazed me for anthing other than a pair of nasty NHS ones I was looking at paying above £150. At that point I decided to take my prescription and leave. I would recommend this opticians if you only want sight checks with them, I wouldn't recommend them for getting glasses from.

It's the kind of place that you go to and they remember your name, your details, and ask you how your holiday was! You can be assured of a 100% friendly, quality and professional service at all times. When I had a problem with my eyes years ago, they fit me in for last minute appointments, explained everything to me and provided an excellent after service. They are totally reliable and I trust them completely.

I tried the chat function on their website, no response. I sent a message on their facebook page, no response. After my second email to customer service they responded by saying "we'll let you know when it's on its way". There's no option to cancel the order so I'll have to talk to my credit card company to get my money back. This is a small old fashion fronted shop right next to the last zebra crossing out of Newport Pagnell. The optician does a very in depth eye test that takes quite a long time. She is very friendly and explains everything well. The receptionist is the one who helps you choose your glasses, she really knows her stuff, like what colour choices they do certain frames in and which is the cheapest way to go about getting the glasses you want. They have a pretty good selection for the size of the shop. They have lots of trendy glasses for kids and young people as well. If you have a problem with your glasses you can go in and they will do small repairs and adjustments whilst you wait. Parking isn't fantastic here but if you ask when you book they will tell you which days are the quietest.

So I requested my optician and hopped off to Specsavers. As this was happening, my driving test was in 4 days time. Not only did I manage to get 2 pairs of nice glasses for £100, they also had them ready in time for my driving test which was a godsend as otherwise I would've failed! Customer service told me they would call me when my glasses were ready for collection, but I never received any call or update.When I called again, customer service said they would confirm with their manager. My appointment was at the Bedford branch My wife also got new glasses because I recommended Specsavers to her but now both of us have decided that we will not use Specsavers again From next time we will go to Boots. customer service misled me They recommended two pairs of glasses even though one pair was enough for me. They did this just to make more money. I had to buy two pairs but later I found out that one pair would have been enough. Now I have to pay again for new glasses, and the second pair I bought is wasted You can investigate this with the Bedford branch to see what happened with me. The manager said that you should come, we will do your eye test again and we we dont charge you. But when I went, my eye test wasn not done because they said there is no need to do it again and they also said they wont charge me.
