I have called repeatedly and no one answers the phone and have emailed them and it is an invalid email address. I was actually able to get a hold of someone 6 weeks ago who said she would take care of it and refund my money back but they have yet to do so. I am in the process now of disputing with my credit card company. Not good business people!!!!

Another friend booked this group class for about 20 of us as a way to come together, remember our friend, and get some exercise. It was a remarkable experience. Our instructor, Alexis, was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better person on that day. She was patient and supportive and created the exact environment we needed. We laughed and cried, and our muscles burned! It was a great workout and Alexis was so helpful with most of us being beginners. Everyone at Pure Barre was great, allowing flexibility with scheduling and just generally being so kind. But what really meant the most was that they donated the proceeds from our private session to a multiple sclerosis foundation that was dear to our friend. I cannot say enough about Pure Barre Haddonfield- Alexis and everyone else was amazing and helped bring some joy during an extremely difficult time. If I lived in the area, I would love to be a regular at this studio. I can't say enough about their kindness and generosity.

What a cute little yoga studio. I am often in Washington Township for work and sometimes, I can't…read moremake it back home to hit up my regular yoga or barre classes so I YELP searched yoga studios and this little gem popped up. First, this little studio is amazingly clean and wow does it smell good inside! I see oils and some other 'smell goods' behind their check in desk - I mostly get the scent of lavender and maybe a little citrus. Second, I have taken only two classes here but both have been incredibly relaxing. A truly wonderful place to destress and shake off the day. I enjoyed both instructors and found the other students friendly and welcoming. There is no mirror and students are encouraged to go at their own pace. I am a Bikram junkie so this was my very first experience with Vinyasa Flow style yoga - I really enjoyed it and left both times feeling really great. So a few things for anyone who has never been here before. You enter right into the studio, so shoes need to come off at the front door, there are cubbies for your gear right there in the front. They have a changing area in the back and their check in desk is in the back of the studio too. Yogi Power Yoga is in a very busy strip mall, parking can be challenging though there is usually more space at the other end by the convenience store. Oh and speaking of strip malls, this studio is next door to a Chinese Food place and standing outside waiting for the studio doors to open might make you hungry. Lastly, if you have never done 'hot' yoga, don't be intimidated, it's nowhere near as hot as it is in the Bikram studios. I hope this place is here for a very long time, I'd like to be able to continue dropping in when I'm in the area.

I cannot think of a more perfect place to practice yoga than their new studio. If you are new to yoga or prefer a more restorative class, check out Katrina's Wednesday night class or one of Lindsey's classes. All the instructors are fabulous though.

I had a Groupon and was very, very excited to try the Barre Ampped classes. I enjoyed the classes tremendously. Great workout although not as intense as I would have liked. (Of course, I had just finished months of straight Pilates and running so I was in pretty good shape.) I've only done the TRX and Barre classes here but they also have Zumba, pilates, yoga, etc. A few comments-yes, some of the instructors vary in quality and teaching style which stinks because these classes are expensive and for what you're paying, you should be able to get consistency. This is normal for gyms though bc you will like some teaching styles better. It is also pricey which deters me from going more often. They run specials frequently on their website which helps with the cost i.e. a barre class will be $13 instead of $20.

I was looking to add some variation and liked that there were different classes available versus…read morejust barre. I purchased a bundle of classes during their summer sale promo. Which was not a bad deal 10 classes for $55. I tried registering online for the beach body glutes class and was unable to. I sent an email and after not hearing back at the end of the following business day I gave them a call. The beach body glutes class is a part of the barre series. So it would use up 2 of my classes versus one ok! So they were able to add me to the class. Upon entering I checked in with the front desk and being my first time I did not know where to go. I stood there is silence thinking they were not finished checking me in. I then noticed they were and explained I was new so I did not know where I was suppose to go. The women at the front desk then directed me to the studio. Can't they see in their system that I am new? Customers should be treated with more respect. On the upside, Donna was amazing and friendly. She noticed I was new and introduced herself. Throughout the class she remained engaged and so energetic. I could barely keep up and I wasn't the one working out and instructing a class! It was really a great workout with the use of a rebounder, skateboard, free weights and many other items. Unfortunately, this class interferes with yoga so i have not been back. Next, I tried spin & core with Brandi. She is also so pleasant and makes you work so hard. This class consists of 45 minutes of spin and then 15 minutes of core workouts on the mat, with weights, and the use of other equipment. She changes it up from week to week which is very nice. However, recently I noticed that this class is not available and had not been replaced on Sundays which is when I like to spin. This was what made it miss the 4 star mark in my eyes.

I have never ever taken a yoga class before so I signed up for a beginner class and I honestly don't know what I thought it was going to be.....but this wasn't it. First, I couldn't find the place. The gps kept saying arrived - but I didn't believe it because it kept taking me to a shopping center. I saw Kohl's, PetSmart and BurgerKing - no way would there be a yoga studio here. But there it was right next to the Spirit Halloween store with a sign as big as day. Ok so all that farting around looking for the place made me late. I walked in literally 3 minutes before the class started. I ran into a young woman who asked if she could assist me. After explaining that I was there for my first class and apologizing for walking in at the zero hour she told me she was the instructor and that she would wait for me while I changed. Ok - so far, so good. (For me anyway, idk about those 13 other people who had to wait for me) The studio is very clean, peaceful, spacious large windows covered with blinds to set the mood and a corner with mats, blankets, blocks & eye pillows in case you forgot yours. This is where it got a little confusing for me. I thought I would get a workout, I thought someone would correct poses & posture, I thought I would break a sweat or at the very least get a killer stretch. Nope, none of the above. The instructor was sweet and did say this was a beginners class which is what I wanted and she stated that she was pregnant and would be going slowly. Ok, all that's fine - but I'm sitting here wondering what I got out of that one hour class, did I do yoga? Or did I sit on a mat inhaling? On top of everything, $15 for a drop in seems pretty expensive when most other places charge between $7 and $10. I don't know if I'll be back. I kind of want to try a different instructor but am worried that if the class is like this one was, I'll be turned off to yoga. But at the same time, I don't like writing poor reviews and they offer so many classes that it could have just been a one off. There were 13 other people in that room so there is a really good possibility that it was just me and I probably just need more than just breathing.

Today, I decided to try out the Voorhees location mainly due to the indoor track. I am training for a race and I don't like to run on treadmills or in poor weather. The "indoor track" has 2 narrow lanes for jogging and walking, yet most of the members seemed oblivious to this and I was dodging people who were not aware of their surroundings for most of the run. The track circles their cardio equipment, therefore you're just passing people staring at you run. I quickly realized the indoor track was not what I was looking for. But, I already knew I wouldn't sign up for the gym even before seeing the indoor track due to a comment the member specialist said while giving me a tour. As he is pointing out the equipment, he says "here is the incline chest press, but women don't need to use this unless they are body building." I'm sorry, sir, but as a 60 something year old man who opted to take the elevator instead of the stairs due to physical issues... how the hell do YOU know what women need? Are you a woman? Are you a trainer? Are you ME? No... that comment was unnecessary and I won't be back. Two stars because they do have top of the line equipment, as well as good amenities (sauna, pool). It was crowded, but it was also a Sunday.
