This place has the best everything. We've been coming here for years. I have no idea what the other review is talking about saying "the doctors". There is only one doctor. The customer service is amazing, they've always gone above and beyond for myself and my kids. They've helped my youngest since she was 4 and she's now 11. We've never had a problem here. Most of the frames are actually higher end name brand frames. They do have a smaller collection for frames medicade pays for but that doesn't apply to us. read more

Looked at my eyes on the machine and then was informed it would be $50 more because I only wear one contact, WTF? I took my aunt there some time last week. My aunt is a little mentally challenged so whenever we go somewhere the doctors is people are normally in patient and rude this time the whole staff was outstanding very nice with us. Dr. Ali is great. But the retail side that sells the glasses is nothing short of awful. Never buy your lenses here! They sold me what they wanted not what I asked for. I specifically told them I did not want multifocal lenses but that's what the gave me. The headaches were unbearable even after a month. they kept telling me I'd get used to it. Finally they replaced the lenses but the prescription was incorrect. Again they replaced the lenses but told me this would be the last adjustment they would make. Later the screw came out of the frame they told me they would have to send it he frames to the lab for the repair which would take two weeks and there would be a charge. I went to another optometrist who made the repair in 5 minutes at no charge. read more

I went here for my eye exam. I don't wear glasses, but I just like to get my eyes checked every now and then to make sure I'm healthy! Dr. Anne Le was really nice and professional. She took time to explain pretty much everything to me and answer all my questions. She even went above and beyond and recommended an allergist to me (since I'm new to the area) and a lasik eye surgeon for my husband. She was very aggressive and belligerent. If you cant take criticism then don't even ask for customer feedback. Simple !! Not only she was rude but very UNPROFESSIONAL. I have not been to an optometrist in about 15 years, so you could say my knowledge of eye care is lacking a little. :) I visited Visionary Eye Care based on their customer reviews, and I'm very happy with the service I received. I was greeted warmly by the ladies at the front desk and they walked me through my paperwork. Dr. Ali was very friendly and very patient with me - answering my incessant eyeball questions and fully explaining until I understood completely. I didn't feel at all rushed, and I felt as though I had a very thorough check-up. After being told that I do, in fact, need a prescription, I cried a little bit and then I chose my new frames. It is a little daunting to see two full walls and two display cases full of different frames to choose from, but Dee was an amazing help. She helped me choose the perfect frames, picking a few she thought I would like out of the large collection. After I finally chose a pair that I was happy with, she went over the different types of lenses and contacts. I never felt as though she was trying to upsell anything. I truly felt like she just wanted to make sure I received the care I needed. Dee was very meticulous with her work. Given that I was getting my glasses around the time most people seem to make eye appointments, I was warned that it might take about three weeks to get my prescription back. I actually received my glasses in about two weeks. Upon picking them up, they made the adjustments, showed me how to care for my glasses, and sent me on my way. After a day or two and talking to a few friends, I realized that the Premium coating that I opted for was not on my lenses, so I gave them a call to explain. Sure enough, the lady on the phone looked at the lab work and it was left off. She put in a request for new lenses, but I can keep the ones I have and they will pop the new lenses in when they arrive. No fuss, no problems. I'm extremely satisfied with Visionary Eye Care. I have been visiting this shop from 2-years for my daughter's and self optical prescription needs. The overall experience is below average and the main cause of lower rating is my recent experience in which the specific staff put unwanted color on lenses and reject to accept the responsibility. She simply accuse me for requesting same color that I infact I dislike in normal life. Her sole purpose was to avoid financial loss for replacing the lenses with correct color. At another occasion, they wasted a lot of time by providing incorrect information twice about vision insurance benefits. The customer service quality is low and they are slow due to inexperienced front desk staff. I have decided to visit some other optical shop next time to avoid such an stressful experience. read more

This was my first visit at Visionary Eye Care and I was not pleased at all. Prior to performing the contact lens fitting I was not informed about being charged an extra 40 dollars to get the procedure done. I made the appointment to get a new prescription for my eyeglasses. After I was given the temporary contacts they forced me to pay for the temporary lenses. The office manager was extremely rude and was not help full at all. Had my first appointment with Dr Ali and loved it so much that I made an appointment for my children right on the spot. I requested an appointment online and although it stated that you had to book at least two days in advance I put in the comments that I would like an appointment asap.
