Chase, I just wanted…read moreto thank you for the great outcome from our on-line transaction. In all my years of buying used stuff, I have NEVER seen as good a packing job as you did with the speaker I bought. Just AWESOME ! Not only did you double-box it and used styrofoam to pad the inner box but you wrapped the speaker in a protective fabric sock and then bubble wrapped the hell out of that! It took me over 5 minutes to just get the bubble wrap off of the speaker! Just like you said, the speaker is in absolutely pristine condition. I connected my frequency sweep generator to it and all drivers work great and the crossovers are doing their job seamlessly. The speaker is already installed in my theater and sounding great. It's a perfect match for the other used Motif X I have on the opposing wall; also in cherry wood, in pristine condition and sounding great. The effort you spent over-packaging my speaker was over the top and much appreciated. You are obviously a stand-up guy who perceived my large concern with possible shipping damage and you stepped up big time to cover all bases. The only thing that UPS could have done to damage that speaker was to set it on fire! I will leave a rave review for you and your company on ebay and Yelp. Thanks again, Brian

My first dealing with Regal A/V was in 2008 when I took my Jeep Liberty in to have an audio system…read moreinstalled. Regal did an efficient, professional job. The audio sounded great, all the components were installed correctly to my standards, and my vehicle was completed quickly on the same day. I purchased a new 2010 Mustang a couple years prior and wanted to once again add an audio system to my new vehicle. After the great experience I had with Regal in the past I had no concerns taking my new, straight off the lot, Mustang to Regal. Oh how I had thought wrong! I got a quote, scheduled my appointment with Regal, and brought my vehicle to them. They originally estimated that they would have my vehicle ready for me later on that same day. When I went in at the estimated completion time there was little progress made, I was then told to inquire later on in the day. That evening when I called I was informed that there were some issues that they had encountered when attempting to install the aftermarket Alpine components. I was informed that they would have to keep my car at their shop for another day. I asked if they had ever done a similar project and they replied with "Yes" but later on it was revealed that this was in fact that was the first 2010 Mustang they had worked on. Needless to say because I did not live in Hays, I had to take yet another day off from work for Regal to install the stereo in my vehicle. That day I had not heard a word from them on the status of my vehicle. I called at around 5pm that evening to find out if my vehicle was complete. Their response was yet again "no." They had provided me with a loan vehicle so that I could return to work the following day. It was a week later when I finally got my Mustang back. Upon initial inspection my vehicle looked and sounded alright, take in mind after a week I was just ready to have my vehicle returned to me. I was recommended to come back when my schedule would allow to let them perform some additional tweaks to the audio system. As time passed I began to notice more and more problems not only with the audio system they installed but also with my vehicle. I experienced the first problem only a couple days after the installation. While I was driving, one of the subwoofer boxes had fallen over and a cable was disconnected from the subwoofer. I was able to reconnect the wire and since have not had any issues with further disconnections which leads me to believe that they may had not secured the connection. Instead of building a subwoofer box to fit inside my trunk they threw in two truck boxes which faced each other. This caused the bass to sound muddy and muffled. With some assistance, the boxes were moved to the back of the trunk facing the seat. Not only did this prevent the bass from sounding muddy it also added a small amount of extra room in my trunk. I believe that anybody slightly experienced with audio should have caught this knowing that if you put 2 speakers facing each other the sound quality will be poor. One of the perks of the 2010 Mustang is the Microsoft Sync system which allows hands free phone features, voice navigation, and other voice assisted features. Since Regal has worked on my vehicle none of these features work. What is the purpose of owning a new vehicle if I cannot use all the features to their ability?? The thing that angers me the most is the large tear on the interior side panel where the driver's side seatbelt is housed. There is no possible way that I would have created this tear simply by using my seatbelt. It appears that the tear was created by someone forcefully removing the panel. My $30,000 car is now damaged due to someone's carelessness... It is 2 years later and I would not be surprised if I still continued to find further issues with Regal's install. Regardless of offering to do further tweaks at no cost I refuse to allow them to touch my vehicle again. It simply perplexes me that they would lie to my face that they had worked on a setup like the one in my car then later state that the project was uncharted territory for them. I am absolutely disgruntled that they allowed my vehicle to sit in their shop for a week as their "project" when the research of the install should have been performed before I even stepped foot into their shop. And lastly, the fact that they did not inform me of the damage they did to my car, nor try to reimburse me for that damage. It is in best practice to at least make the owner aware that damage occurred while in their hands. Between both installs I have spent around $6000 at Regal. Currently I am interested in upgrading the audio system in my vehicle and I can confidently say that Regal will not be getting my future business!
