Like many antique malls, there's lots of…read more"filler" tchotchkes (cheap figurines, glassware, etc) that ride a fine line between "collectibles" and "junk" and lately seems to make up the bulk of most antique mall booths, but we still found a lot (a LOT) of things to take home with us. The mall itself gets 4 stars, but I'm adding an extra star because the highlight off our visit was the gals manning the shop - Crystal & Sheryl. They were friendly & funny and made spending a lot of money a true delight. We shop a LOT of antique malls when we travel and most of the time the people working are completely indifferent (and often borderline rude) - so the ones that feel like instant friends always stick out for us and we always try to make sure to reward that. We will definitely be back!

This is one of the best Catholic gift stores I have ever visited. They had many of the gifts I…read moreexpected (i.e. crucifixes, rosaries, saint medals, etc.) but also specialized gifts that I have not seen at other stores such as Saint peg dolls for children, unique rosaries hand made by a local artisans and beautiful holy cards with vintage images and older prayers from a hundred years ago and more. My wife got me a beautiful rosary from here for Christmas that was corded with kevlar so that it is super strong and will last much longer and can be worn everyday. Lastly I found their selection of books to be helpful, in addition to the standard selection they had many hard to find books that I would not have even looked for but were a blessing to be found. One was a book for children receiving their First Holy Communion titled "Jesus Make Me Worthy" that included so many beautiful and holy prayers and images for my twin daughters and secondly was unique prayer book from Fr. Ripperger. I am looking forward to visiting again next time I am close to Hays.
