We needed the outside of our big house painted, and the Realtor-recommended painter took another…read morebig job and bumped us. He felt badly, so he subcontracted the job to Tim Kemper. My husband and I are really impressed with Tim Kemper's work! He was quite conscientious, hard- working, respectful of our property, and generally went above and beyond a "simple" outdoor paint job. We have tall eaves (the builder seemed fond of the mountain chalet design) and loads of irregular-shaped windows, so a challenge from the start. In heat over 100 degrees, he battled house-climbing vines and overgrown shrubs (that he trimmed back), loads of dirt dauber nests and spider webs, pounds of pine needles on the eaves (that he removed and carted away), and even a never-emptying nest of aggressive red wasps in the outdoor light soffit (he used soapy water to dispatch them rather than toxic pesticides). He removed all the external hardware so he could paint, then cleaned it all before he replaced them. The paint job itself looks terrific. And he is a nice guy to boot!
