Vision Express would be considered a slight one up in quality compared with Specsavers or some of the other large optician chains in the city centre. Even with that how varied can the quality be - I called in earlier in the week because I'm considering changing my optician (mainly because I've been with them since I first started wearing optics when I was 15) Specsavers is a very welcoming and friendly place however this place has a little of the clean lab about it. Sparse and white, clean lines and a handful of mirrors break-up the shiny white everywhere. Prices are a bit higher too - they never seem to have the same level of offers on that the other big chains do but there is a good range of designer frames on offer. That really doesn't help me too much as I've been wearing contacts for the last few years though, prices for those are again higher. read more
