There was a nice waiting area where we filled out our forms, and I liked that they offered us water. The massage room was also nice with the same tranquil music playing. I enjoyed my massage and found it really relaxing, however both my boyfriend and I didn't feel like our needs were listened to. He asked for more focus on his lower back, where he has some issues, and I indicated that I wanted her to go to hard on my back, but neither of us really got what we wanted. My massage therapist did tell me that she tends to go lighter on new patients; however I hoped that since I told her I wanted her to go hard, she would do that. We each got a card for $10 off our next massage there, so I will go back again and hopefully get a deeper massage next time!

And 2) The worst part was there was a really loud rattling noise in the ceiling and it completely ruined the relaxing experience and the first post pandemic facial I had had in almost 2 years. The technician knew and acknowledged the noise and I even let the front desk receptionist know. I got an "oh no that's awful!" reply and then was still charged 170 for a service that was not at all the experience I hoped it would be.

My daughter got her eyebrows waxed, and they also offer microblading and eyelash extensions at very reasonable prices. The space is nicely decorated, with a boutique feel rather than your run of the mill nail salon. Jenny picked the name "Lavelle" because she liked the way it sounded, and was happy when she found out that it meant "a cut above." I concur. If we lived here, I would be a regular client.

The entire reason I went was to get a manicure because I have a shoot on Sunday. Kelly was doing my hands, she didn't clean under the nail, I asked her several times to and she half heartedly touched under my nail. There was still dirt underneath but I had asked so many times I gave up and was hoping the colour would cover it. She did a horrific job on my nails and cut my cuticles so much. There was SO much nail polish and she even put nail polish IN the cuticle- then argued with me about where my cuticle is. She was filing my skin and it was so painful. They had to have another girl Come and redo my nails and honestly the entire experience was a nightmare. They charged me full price- didn't even apologize. The way the situation was handled was terrible- I'm never going back and if you do- do NOT let Kelly touch your nails...
