I come in here when I am in the mood to eat something a little sinful and deep fried, which is kibbling. Unfortunately, I have not got into eating herring yet, because it would be so much healthier. Plus, herring has a lot of vitamin D, which is so needed, since our climate does not provide so much sun in west of Europe. I believe a great way to try Dutch food is to just simply, stop into a fish shop or street venue and sample a few popular Dutch snacks. Raw Herring is one of the traditional top Dutch snacks, it is typically served with chopped onions and pickle. A cuisine, I think would be very much popular in Japan. When I lived in Japan, it was hard for me to stomach raw fish. So I am still trying to build an acquire taste for herring. Now as far as for kibbling, I love it!
