These may seem like small things to some, but for someone recovering from a traumatic brain injury, they're life-changing. In terms of my spine, I initially had herniated discs, but a month post-treatment, my scans showed they were now simply bulging-definitely a positive shift. I credit this to the stem cells having time to fully integrate and support healing in my body. Dr. Manuel Colon is clearly passionate about what he does, and his staff is genuinely warm and professional. I did have one concerning experience with a nurse who had difficulty finding a vein and unfortunately placed the IV incorrectly, which was uncomfortable. Thankfully, that was a one-time incident, and I didn't have to work with her again. Everyone else I encountered was skilled, kind, and attentive. They also offer amazing facials, which I found to be a great complement to the overall wellness experience. They hold events and invite their customers, which is so thoughtful even though I wasn't able to attend. The doctor that saw my mom to explain the procedure seemed extremely dismissive and didn't seem very engaged with my mom . She seemed to ignore questions and kept giving responses like "yeah" "uh-huh" "sure" "right" after every question. It seemed weird and dismissive . From this interactional alone, I would not recommend this practice. They are recommending a procedure that would include multiple office visits, and did not consider my mom's suggestions on the type of care she wished to receive . Highly disappointed with OneMed's s customer service…read more As a new patient, I chose Dr. Patel based on a trusted recommendation. After calling and leaving a message for clarification about a medical order, I never received a return call. When I called back later that day, I was simply told I needed to schedule an appointment to speak with the doctor. The office is over 30 minutes from my home, so it's not as if I can just stop by to resolve a communication issue. Like many large practices, everything goes through a call center, making it nearly impossible to reach the office directly. Florida has no shortage of medical providers. Customer service is what separates exceptional practices from mediocre ones, and this experience has been disappointing. I'm posting this in the hope that it gets the attention of the front office. I'll update my review if the situation is resolved.
