Unfortunately I was here for business lunches so I have no pictures to share but overall, typical lunch spot in Zurich with yes, Zurich prices and white tablecloths. There is a bar area but I hardly see people there at lunch but the main dining room and the back room are usually full during peak hours, usually packed with well dressed bankers or older women. The back room seems more fancy but maybe because it feels more intimate in there. The wait staff, especially the Asian woman, and the host are wonderful. I'm not used to super gregarious people in this city but the host is very animated. I've had the soups and salads here which are nothing special. The salads, like most salads I've eaten in this city, are pretty terrible is you compare them to what you can get in NYC where there are shops devoted to just salad making. The main dishes are much better, thankfully, and the pastas are quite tasty. They also have moules frites which looked great but I stuck to the traditional Swiss dishes like the veal in cream sauce with rice/noodles and/or hash browns (which are very buttery). The table olive oil and bread are great! The menu is very big so if you come in a group or family, I'm sure there will be something to satisfy everyone's palate.
I've noticed that the portion sizes for entrees in Zurich are usually quite sizable so if you get the business lunch prix fixe, you will be pretty full. read more
