It is more of a restaurant than a pub, though it does have a front bar. One of the great things about this pub though is that there are lots of little rooms which you can book for your dinner party, meaning that you can dine in private. Even though there is a couple of them around now, Charminar have kept their reputation strong and continued to deliver quality product for a good price, which is all I want really.

Better off going with the normal naan for the dollar less, since it doesn't really live up to being called a cheese naan. My partner had the butter chicken and said it wasn't bad. There were lots of bits of chicken in it, but it didn't seem to have a lot of flavour in it like other places have. I had the palak paneer (after being told by the man on the phone that it was nice)... But I regret my decision. Didn't have much flavour in it and all I could taste was the spiciness (not flavour spices, just hot spiciness). Very very bland. Could barely smell it when I opened the container. Definitely would not order this again and I honestly can't say I enjoyed it at all. Left most of it in the container. Only plus was that it had lots of pieces of paneer in it. Both meals were quite spicy, but this was our fault as we forgot to request them mild. Not terrible, but we might stick to our local Indian from now on, sorry!
