This place is really cute inside. It's aesthetically pleasing to look at, it's a relaxing place. Customer service is amazing, they're super friendly and upbeat. The baristas are relatively quick. I had the chocolate bourbon pecan pie, it's a good pie. As for the cold brew and the chai latte I had, those were not good and that's the reason for the 3 stars. The cold brew was bitter, the beans they used were burnt, the flavor is awful. My chai was very watery, the spices are strong, there's not much flavor to it though. After 4 hours at the local DMV, we needed some sunshine and some caffeine, and Viridian did not disappoint! Sara at the counter was super friendly and had great suggestions. Cold brew is their specialty, and it was smooth and perfect! I don't like the overwhelming sweet & milky taste of most lattes, so Sara suggested a cold brew with just a splash of oat milk and 1/2 the normal amount of salted caramel syrup. It was perfect! My son ordered a similar coffee but blended, like a frappe. Sara suggested what they called "caramel extreme" (or something like that), and she was not playing!
