I purchased an Ashley chair from the owner's online store on Amazon, titled johndavidsonbass (I…read morewant to clarify that it was not directly from Brownie Furniture, but the SAME owner). I purchased the chair back on June 6, 2014 from him. The chair arrived with a crack backing. I emailed John in a timely manner. He said that he would send another backing. After a few weeks, a box arrived. He sent the wrong part. I emailed him again. After several more weeks, another box arrived. It was the wrong part AGAIN. This is even after I sent him pictures of the damaged chair back. I emailed him once again. He PROMISED that he would get my chair fixed AND provide me with some kind of compensation for all the headaches I have had to deal with-especially since I was pregnant and had a toddler throughout this whole deal. He said that he would get me the right part. After weeks turned into months, I received another box (after being on his case). There was one point where he even blamed FedEx for missing the box that needed to be picked up. One excuse after another ensued. This time though, it was the right part, but this too was cracked!!! I emailed him again. He stopped being apologetic, did not answer my questions, and was generally rude and curt for this being entirely HIS MISTAKE. At this point, he told me to find a box (and pay for it) and to send the damaged part back to him in order to get a new chair back. I could not find a box big enough, and he refused to send me one in the mail. He said that he could not get ahold of one-even though he OWNS a furniture store! I had to contact Amazon to help. THEY paid for shipping back and provided help finding a box for me. I had to find a baby-sitter so I could fit this chair back in my car and use my time to find a FedEx place to send it back. After a few days, I received confirmation that it had arrived. I asked for an update on my new chair backing, and he NOW told me that he was not going to send a correct part AT ALL and to take apart the chair I had and send it back to him for a refund. He did not offer to send me a box, pay for shipping, or account for all the time I would spend taking apart the chair to send it back to him. HE REFUSED to abide by his original promise and send me a new chair back PLUS provide me with some kind of compensation. He claimed in his emails that I could never be satisfied with the piece of furniture he would send. All I asked for was a chair back that was not cracked or damaged-this is a completely reasonable request. I have ALL of these emails saved. There are over 60 emails back and forth since the purchase was made back in June. I gave him fair warning that I was going to file a complaint and do everything in my power to show what a liar and unprofessional business man he is. This can be easily fixed by sending me my new chair back, compensation for my troubles, and an apology for all I have had to go through simply to get a piece of damaged furniture fixed. Please, please DO NOT buy from him. You can check the BBB of Minnesota yourself...there are multiple formal complaints filed against him for similar situations. I am 31 years old and never have written a review online about ANYTHING-good or bad...but I am determined to let the public know how extremely horrible this business has treated me.

By New Year's Day I was in so much pain I went to the Emergency Department. They gave me two pain tablets while I was there. Then I was given a bottle of numbing drops and told to use them sparingly. Since they couldn't write me for pain medication. Luckily Eye North texted me on the third. When they found out what I was using they both came into the office to meet me. These drops caused coronial erosion. They put a very expensive placenta cover on my eye hoping to rebuild the coronial. When that didn't work, they referred me to a specialist and I just got the eye patch off last week. If they hadn't checked in on me I probably would have lost the sight in one eye

These are auction industry experts who can help with your needs big or small. I researched and met with the other primary competitor in the area (I suggest you do too - while I'm sure they will get the job done the best service, knowledge, pricing and staff can all be found at 2 Rivers). My needs were fairly large - a 35acre farming estate in northern MN with a mountain of stuff in the middle of nowhere: tractors, farming equipment, tools, guns, household etc (a family member passed away). The entire auction process for this estate took almost a full month (clean, sort, lot, mechanic work on over a dozen vehicles, set up, viewing days, online auction, pick up days). The owner Bart, and his staff were nothing short of amazing. For me it was an overwhelming maze to navigate - I was emotional:) had no clue what to do, where to start, or what the financial burden would be. 2 Rivers took care of everything, had simple/clear pricing, great communication (verbal estimate range for labor/lot cost and profit were accurate), friendly and very hard working staff-ALL of them are WONDERFUL! They made this process not only manageable but fun, they were respectful of my loved one who passed and of my needs as not only a customer but as a person, they treated me like a friend. Great Company all around.
