As a private depositer and not a business one, I'm not sure what the complaining review was about. I opened an acct when the Reston branch first opened. I've been a steady "depositer" ever since; have a safe deposit box (small size). I've seen branch managers come and go, and the present one is conscientious--and sharp. A year or two ago she noted a trust paper of mine was missing from the bank files that I'm pretty sure I gave when I opened the acct, way back! Anyway I brought that up to speed when I was notified of the discremency. Documents to be notarized or otherwise requiring bank actions (a will; a transfer of something) are promptly done for me; tellers are fine--my deposits for the ckg or savings account are done quickly. Very little waiting around in line. Again, this is the Reston branch. I do hold a hefty sum (for me anyway) in ckg and savings accounts) and certainly their "interest" rates are competitive if not better--check them out!
To some extent I've used the Leesburg branch also--but deal primarilywith Reston. Perhaps the complaints are for other branches and might be valid for that branch or for the actions the complainint was seeking(sp?)--and finally,a nephew of mine, who lives in Maryland, deposited funds in the Reston branch. read more
