It looks great but, I prefer to smoke at home on the patio. Maybe when it gets cold outside I use the cigar lounge. I mostly use Virgin Cigar when I'm running low on cigars and I didn't place an order in time from the online Cigar shops that I use. Virgin Cigar is a little pricey, compared to my two online retailers but, I get to buy and use the same day when I purchase from Virgin Cigar. They carry my two favorite brands Drew Estate and Cavalier. The guys are great, sometimes it takes a while for them to warm up to you but, the service is always great. Definitely worth a visit! While visiting from Florida, I stopped by Virgin Cigar. The business model here is different. It feels like they want to be a private lounge, but also be public. Living in Florida I've seen all types of cigar lounges. The culture in Florida is just different here. When you purchase a cigar at virgin they will ask you if you would like to smoke it there or will it be to go? To sit down and smoke the cigar you just purchased will cost you an additional $20 for use of their lounge. You have the option of going outside and smoking at the picnic table by the parking lot for free. I chose to sit outside and smoke. I have nothing good or bad to say about this lounge. That's the model they chose and maybe it works for them. It's not my scene, but that's OK. read more

Definitely my go to spot for cigars. The service is always courteous and helpful, with the plethora of choices to choose from. Some nice recent upgrades have opened the humidor up even more and the addition of QR codes on the cigar boxes is the perfect touch to learn more about the cigar of your choosing. I asked where do you smoke , the person at the counter states it's private if your from out of town it cost you $20.00 dollars just to smoke here . Guy was rude. Just because you may own a cigar lounge does not make you an expert. His so called lounge is in a strip mall. It's members only, you should probably inform people that. Wanted $20 for a day pass. I'm not paying to smoke in a lounge in a strip mall. It wasn't even that nice inside. Then when I agreed to pay the $20, told me I had to wear a collared shirt, yet he did not have one on. Again, this is NOT an upscale place, yet he in his mind thinks it is. I see a lot of reviews of folks who had negative experiences here. Mileage may vary I guess but I have never had any trouble. I am not a member, I'm young, and I'm black and have never experienced any of the things mentioned here with folks saying they were treated poorly for being in a similar demographic. Customer service has always been great and if I have felt they were "hovering" I just say "thanks for the help I'll grab you if I need anything" and they leave me alone until I'm done. They have the best selection of cigars in the area but trust me, nobody is shoplifting cigars so there's no need to follow patrons around; be available when I need you but don't hover. A lot of us have memberships in different lounges all over the country, so it's no big deal about not openly offering day passes or membership requirements. Wtf@chill out. read more

I came here on every business trip to Raleigh to have a few cigars with others like me. No longer, looks like a jail entrance on way in, they enforce not only masks but watch you sanitize before allowing you to buy cigars. Thank goodness I asked about lounge rules on masks, the hall monitor up front said members only, no attempt to offer daily rate, said I could only buy cigars. I used to frequent this establishment, enjoyed the atmosphere, bought boxes or individual sticks every visit. I even called in orders and paid over the phone and picked up. Since they implemented their new membership fees for lounge access, I have not purchased a single stick from them and refuse to purchase in the future. Why would I patronize a shop that tries to exclude people? It's contrary to cigar culture - antithetical! This is a great lounge. Found myself here after a long day (behind my keyboard) and what a nice surprise. The staff is friendly, atmosphere is laid back and the conversation is enjoyable. This is not one of those stuffy cigar lounges where the clientele brags about the soft notes of basil, hints of cocoa leaf and seaweed, it's more like real men (no women present when I visited) conversing about real life. The Humidor has a broad variety of cigars from the mass produced to the boutique brands. The prices are spot on and again the selection is awesome. As I'm writing this review I'm enjoying a MyFathers Maduro, listening to smooth jazz and watching a Golf. If you've been looking for a nice clean, not overly Smokey place to mellow out, do yourself a favor and stop in at Virgin Cigars. read more

In essence this place now is for the GOB network. For $200 a month to be offered nothing with that membership other than a receipt is ridiculous. $200 a month to smoke is a drug habit. They have now changed to make a few stupid few pay for what many could have enjoyed. Why not ask 10 good ppl to pay $20, than 1 MAGA HAT pay $200? You notice there are no ppl, members, patrons in the pictures. Why by cigars at a lounge you are not welcomed in? You're paying extra for cigars that helps pay for leather chairs n copper ceilings you will not see w/o paying $200. On top of all this, it closes at 8pm, doesn't offer any beverages and discounts. Oh 15% off once you buy like 5 overpriced cigars. Only Mr Oscar is allowed not to be the Demog they are allowing in. It would help if they allowed day passes for out of towners and locals who are not avid smokers. Just go to Havana's downtown Glenwood for the same and better experience. I dont want to feel Im paying for someone's SL 500, retirement Fl home, 5k sq ft house. Save yourself the time and go to Ansteads in Fayetteville.
