good points - huge gym floor
- brand new so changing rooms, equipment, pool etc is in v good condition
- big TRX frame, climbing wall, free costa hot drinks, nice lounge area with lots of macs & magazines if you like hanging out at the gym
- sauna/ steam room/ jacuzzi are sectioned off from the pool (still easily accessible) and therefore keep in the heat a lot more; experience showers & ice give it a 5* hotel feel
- antigravity yoga classes available
bad points - antigravity yoga is a big selling point and so v popular, but unfortunately no booking method yet.
- currently the antigravity yoga intro sessions are just before a standard session and nobody bothers to let you know if the ppl in the earlier class are all staying for the next session
- desk staff and managers aren't sincerely apologetic and don't offer solutions if you make a complaint (this is a problem with virtually every gym i've been a member of)
- jacuzzi is on a cycle timer so although it's huge, only parts of it are bubbling at any one time. do they expect ppl to all move round the jacuzzi at the same time?
- small pool (2 lanes, 20m)
- underground so no natural light, no phone reception
- expensive read more
